By not good you must mean terrible. Because Ellis is terrible. But just keep winning, just keep winning.
Sounds like we've traded Carrasco to Orlando for Amobi Okugo. Some blurbs about Amobi that I found searching for him: - 6th overall pick in the 2010 Super Draft by the Union - Generations Adidas signee - Traded from Philly to Orlando before this year for a 2nd rd pick and cash considerations - Philly fans thought very highly of him as a CB, but thought he was a very average DM
Catch yall up on Okugo from this season. Started the first 9 matches before getting MLS'd by the yellow card rule. Never regained his place upon return as his replacement and the team hit a good run of form. He is pretty much your typical defensive mid. He will get into good position, make the short safe pass, and not afraid to make a tackle (see his yellow card and foul totals). Can get caught on the ball from time to time. I will miss him but his salary was a burden to be sitting on the bench. Now that you have sent us Mr Alex Morgan; how about we work out a deal for Mr Sydney Leroux so the happy couples can be reunited.
So has he been exclusively used as a DM this season? I think we are planning to play him pretty exclusively at CB.
Outsdide of roughly 20 mins or so against West Brom last week; yeah. There was no chance that he was going to displace Collin, Hines, or St Ledger at CB. He is a little small to be a CB if you ask me. They list him at 6'0 but I would say it is more like 5'9 or 5'10 if we are being nice.
Whatever happened with the Dwyer stuff? Did Orlando have to pay an undisclosed tampering fine? I think I read that's what the league was thinking but I don't know if it ever went down. I bet this new guy will be a CB. Maybe a fill in for Mustivar late in games or if he needs a game off but now that Paulo's back that's a role he an fill.
Mustivar has been so huge for us. I may be incorrect here, but I think we started Carassco at DM the first couple games of the year. The thought of him being a routine starter for us at that time almost made me cry.
Ives Galarcep– Verified account @SoccerByIves Sporting KC is far from done. I'm told club closing in on 2 more acquisitions, the pricier of the 2 targets is a winger. #SportingKC
So what happens if we sign a legit winger? I'm assuming the "pricier" of the two would be our last DP spot, so I'd also assume we'd be hoping to start that player. - If we move Nemeth to striker, what happens to Dom? Both need to be on the field as much as possible. - Obviously this player wouldn't take Zusi's spot, so do we move Zusi in the middle? - Who makes way if we move Zusi to the middle? Espinoza hasn't been as consistent as we probably hoped, but I don't know if Zusi could do his job any better. - Mustivar and Feilhaber obviously shouldn't be moved in any way I'm all for adding depth at wing due to Zusi call-ups and being plagued with injuries, but I don't think we need to drop big money unless we plan on changing our formation or something.
Just got back from the game. Can't believe Davis and Houston were picking fights after going up 1 a man down on the road in one of the most difficult places to play this season. I know his end game was to waste time, but obviously it just gave us some much needed motivation. They were acting like bitches the entire game, especially Ricardo Clark, he was fucking with Dom every dead ball.
What, houston? Never.... So, if memory serves me correctly that 9 straight WINS at sporting park. Not a 9 game undefeated streak but 9 WINS. That. Is. Insane.
Dynamo gonna Dynamo. I go back to the three reasons Bill Simmons said are the only reasons to ever be in Houston: 1. For work. 2. To get fat. 3. To get shot.
We were running on adrenaline after Benny's goal and that PK completely killed us. Peterson is so awful to watch, such wasted opportunities every time a build up ends at his feet. Also we need to fix our Nemeth. I think the summer is something he's not used to, seems to be wilting in the heat.
glad that zusi is back, love how in form benny is now, fuck houston. shitty team with douche fans from a shitty state.
Officiating in the MLS is beyond comical at this point. It's like they know they're terrible and don't even try anymore.
Should be signing a midfielder from barcas B side. Know him from when we scouted for Uri. I think he's going to be a depth move for back up b2b mid behind Roger.
Hopefully Quintilla can get up to speed pretty quickly. We don't lose a ton by plugging in Nagamura in the interim, but we are going to need some assistance long-term.
glad we shut down their offense, canada sucks ass balls anyway. Wish we still played in the east, that conference is balls easy.
Anyone read anything about injuries going into tomorrow's match? Salt Lake rested most of their starters over the weekend in preparation for this game, so hopefully some of our guys have healed up by now.
