I worry that it's going to be SO different that many are going to be turned off because it won't "feel" like SW. But I'm ready to see the franchise take some risks. Bring it on.
It wasn't bad, and Im still glad I read it. Just doesn't have any HOLY SHIT moments like the past few books have had.
I really need more than 30 minutes of rebels once a week. The show has made me love way too many characters to cover in such a limited number of minutes, but it nails a tightrope walk of character and story focus for me.* On that note, Truman and Wu were 100% right. Life Debt was better than the first installment in pretty much every facet. I enjoyed the hell out of it and give a lot of kudos to the author/editor/whatever for dramatically improving on his first effort. Then I read Bloodline. Goodness gracious was that ever fantastic. I don't have to knock any other book when I say that it makes a quick leap on to the short list for best new canon novels I've read. Just excellent all around.** Spoiler *I really like chopper **And I wasn't even a huge fan of Lost Stars
There was a big hulabaloo on the internet a while back as to how exactly Kylo's lightsaber operated. The visual dictionary gives a good explanation.
i was doubting it since it was announced, but with donald glover on board, i'm confident it's going to be fun as shit
I love Glover but I just don't see him as Lando. He just doesn't exude the charisma Billy D did. Saw Shameik Moore was in contention. Thought he'd be perfect.
He has a ton of charisma but not lando type charisma. I'll just say Everything I've seen him in makes it hard to imagine him as lando.
