Stuck in the mud zombie regenerated brain function / thought process while stuck in the mud coma. Stupid kid then woke him up and allowed him to free himself. Zombie wounded the cow to lure unsuspecting Dale. /thisshowsucks
I tried hard for along time to see if this show would have some redeeming quality...it doesn't. It bums me out.
Literally only watch the show for the opening theme and credits to bring back all of the good Season 1 memories...then I turn that shit off. Not really, but I wish I did.
This thread is my safe haven. I can talk shit on this horribly executed show, and the overwhelming majority echoes my opinion. While if you go elsewhere, people will strike you down for believing this show isn't anything less than amazing. IT'S LIKE OUR OWN MAGICAL FARM. TMB IS OUR MAGIC FARM.
have a feeling he's always played a less than lovable character in his bit parts, but I'm not going to do the research. I bet the og writers would love this thread.
Exactly. Let us not forget that FNL failed, Community is hardly watched, and comedies like Two and a Half Men/Big Bang Theory are lauded and watched by a shitload of people
FNL Sports Night Studio 60 Kings Community Black Donnellys All well written, only FNL lasted longer than three seasons. Americans don't know dick about good TV.
Spoiler is that something from a past episode that was an easter egg kind of thing, or is that from a future episode that means this fucker is finally dead?
Good to know. Note to self: If you ever encounter the woman pictured below do not audibly laugh, or it will most likely be the last thing you ever do Spoiler And on the theme of shows we're pissed about getting cancelled, how about Playmakers. While I'm not going to argue that the writing was terrific I really enjoyed the first season of that show until the NFL fucked it over.
Playmakers was great. Watching the guy from Wild N Crazy Kids snort cocaine off a trash can at halftime of a football game was fantastic.
I hate this show as much as anyone but in most zombie movies they tear humans apart fairly easily so I have no problem with that. The other 40 minutes of the episode is where the problems are.
The tearing apart thing would've been fine if it had happened at all in the last 2 seasons. I can think of multiple occasions where humans have been pulled at by zombies, had zombies on top of them trying to eat them, etc. Not once did that turn into the zombie just ripping the human apart like a kleenex.
Yeah I had a much bigger problem with the zombie somehow sneaking up behind old crazy eyes than I did with it tearing him open. But honestly I don't care so much about the zombie inconsistencies as I do about how boring and horribly written 95% of this show is. Still gonna watch because there are zombies though.
Like other people have said, the problem with the Zombies isn't what they do or don't do its that there don't appear to be any rules. They are slow and loud but they sneak up on people. They are laser focused on eating fresh meat but they leave a half eaten cow to apparently sneak up on Dale. Shane can hold them at bay with a bus door but they can rip open a human chest with no problem. We'll buy just about anything (even the stupid "they move faster in groups" line) as long as its consistent. Its not, and therefore will continue to be mocked.
We all have to remember, this is the same guy who let an entire "herd" of zombies "sneak" up on their convoy on the highway.
Talking about zombie speed, when shane broke the window in the last episode, they were out the window and on rick in a hurry.
only read this spoiler if you want to ruin your day Spoiler Tara from True Blood is supposed to be a new character, showing up in the finale
Should kill off the entire fucking farm crew and start over with the other group that has rapists and shit. They seem like a way more entertaining bunch of post apocolyptic surviors.
After I posted, that's what I figured Spoiler never watched true blood so don't know the actress, just want the character on board
Try going to AMC's website and going to the blog about the walking dead. I got attacked for saying it was a crappy show. There were thousands of people on there defending it.
This season has been such a failure because the crux of any zombie show or movie is that the character never feel safe so that you as the audience also don't feel safe. 80% of this season has been about personality conflicts on a farm with no real sense of danger. Its no wonder we as an audience are bored, the characters on the freaking show are bored. Even when they were out searching for Sophia there was no real fear of danger. The 1st season there was constant danger and an uncertainty about what would happen and when which has totally disappeared this season. Couple this factor with the inconsistencies of what zombies can and can't do and the fact that the acting isn't very good and you have a really bad season. It also doesn't help like the characters often act like there is no zombie apocolypse going on. People are constantly going out in the woods alone, walking around at night alone, Carl is always wandering off from his parents and they never notice. Come the fuck on
