I'm reading reports saying that Poch reached out to Levy in an attempt to push the transfer through, getting him to lower his evaluation a bit. If that is the case it should definitely get done. Levy has given Poch more license to do as he wants with the squad than any manager we've previously had so hopefully that will do the trick. To his credit Andros has kept his head down and not made much of a fuss since the physio altercation and getting dropped. Poch is supposedly trying to force the transfer through as a good will gesture for how he's responded. It would also free up a roster spot and give us some extra cash to possibly bring in another player before the window closes. It would be a win win all around so we definitely need to try and get it done.
This one has to get done based upon the tone of all of the articles. It's probably minimum of L10.5, which sounds good by me and maybe L14 million with add-on's.
That's why I figured it'd be done already. Get the wages off the books, and free up a senior slot for someone who will actually contribute.

Saw a photo Harry had posted from there the other day, didn't know the whole squad had taken a trip there. Great to see all the lads having a swell time together in Spain. Between us and FCB, Barcelona is temporarily home to the greatest collection of footballing talent on Earth right about now! They deserve a little R+R after the stretch we've been through since December. We've got a week off before playing minnows in the FA Cup so this is a great time to do it.
Ugh, praying this wont last long, but I do like Wimmer and feel pretty good with him back there. Would suck if Vertonghen and Walker were both out. On the positive side, if it was that bad would he have taken the trip to Barcelona or would he be home waiting for swelling to go down and possible surgery.
Could be out for up to 3 months from what I've read, that would fucking blow. We need to either get another DM or CB in this window if that is that case. If we brought in a Wanyama type then we could move Dier back to CB when necessary. We need to keep this team a Fazio free zone. Dier's versatility will be huge for the home stretch.

Townsend to Newcastle for 12m is being reported. Only thing left is for the club to announce it. I hope he does well.
We do have Fazio The reality is that we probably could get by pretty well with Wimmer or Dier. If Dier drops back it frees up a spot for Mason or Bentaleb at CDM. I am so confident with the depth of our squad and their interchangeability that I think we will be just fine.

Tabloid rumors are that Moussa 2 is heading to Monaco due to player wages. In any case, if he does come to Spurs, I saw someone recommend that the new chant should be two moussa dembele's instead of the oh moussa dembele. Very catchy.
Man they are so young, but the camaraderie is cool to see. The melting pot that is Spurs, right? Belgians, Koreans, Austrians, English, French... Rolling in like a Civ 5 match.
Last 5 seasons net spend. Focusing on youth and infrastructure has really paid dividends. We believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way IMO.
