i think so. i dont think it is gonna be particularly close either. cant understand how sc is a 2 point favorite other than SEC SEC SEC. theyre gonna be lucky to make a bowl
i drunkenly bet a case of beer each with 2 buddies on unc at -10.5 so i may be a bit more confident than some
wolfpck and other NC State fans how good is this Hines kid? From the limited info I have read it seems like this kid is special. Won the starting job at WR?
jack tabb to kendrick singleton is an improvement on that .5% too also chizik is a damn good dc. i know our d was awful last year but there is some talent and with improved coaching and a simplified scheme (the players themselves have been saying how much easier it is assignment wise), i think they'll be greatly improved (like 60th-70th range)
I have little to no faith that we do anything this game. Last time we played in Columbia, SCar ran a vanilla offense & defense and we still never had a chance. I get that they aren't as good as they were in 2013 but neither are we. Prove me wrong Larry.
I'm not the biggest Mitch fan by any means, but Beecher was a 2 star. He might not be all that great, and might even get replaced by a true freshman at some point this season, but he is by far better than Beecher. I don't expect our defense to shut them down, but I expect us to be vastly improved. That remains to be seen however. It will be hard to keep them under 30, possibly 40. As bad as our defense was last year, theirs was worse. Chizik can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. I don't expect them to be able to stop us much either.
i think most of the defensive deficiencies last year were scheme and coaching related. there was some individual talent across the board just the 4-2-5 was idiotic and the coaching of fundamentals and technique has been severely lacking under fedora and koenig
i was just quoting syvelle newton on the beecher comment. however, i have zero faith in your offense, and i think they will drastically outscore you i could be wrong, but i really just don't see a way y'all keep it close
The biggest difference with us imo, is we should have a couple of studs on the D line. Dante Sawyer should be the hoss up the middle who can stuff the run and Marquavius Lewis should be our pass rushing specialist.
In a worst case scenario situation (A&M last year) you could be right. 3 and out, quick score from UNC, 3 & out, quick score and Spurrier will quickly abandon the gameplan and we would be fucked from that point. Hopefully he tries to smash the defense with the run and ball control offense, and make them play catch up. Honestly I don't have a clue. I can see a good sized victory for both teams, and close wins from both teams. Just ready to see what we've got at this point.
tj logan is gonna house the opening kickoff and then mj stewart is gonna house a pick on the next possession someone stop me i am drunk on excitement
Wasn't sawyer supposed to be a de but he came in 20lbs over weight? I think Lewis will be decent. More of a Corey Crawford type DE than a pure pass rushing de tho IMO. But you're right, who knows? Spurrier is always good about putting points up
He's the recruit I've been most excited for in the last 10 or so years and I'm not exaggerating. I have REALLY high hopes for him.
I drafted him in my keeper league thinking he was going to be a pure stash prospect. But the recent reports have him winning a starting spot. So i'm really excited about that.
I've been in TMB league for what seems like 6 or 7 years now. Its fun and competitive. We had a couple of openings but the bulk of the core GMs have been a part of the league for a long time. It's probably my favorite football league i'm a part of. We currently use Fantrax
got a big commitment last night and we kick off college football tonight gonna be a good day, gentlemen
liked the write-up on bradley http://www.scout.com/college/north-carolina/story/1581983-big-commitment-tony-bradley-unc
just ran into cayson collins dad on the light rail. he's the man. played at south carolina but all in for a unc blowout
i am an addict and i keep getting hopped up on this garbage program they're about to let me down yet again
Defense looks pretty tiny and slow out there, little more physical at least. Think they're just gonna out muscle us and continue to control the ball. Offense looks good, but they're gonna need to capitalize on of every possession. I guess we're typically better in the 2nd half too so who knows.
good thing we kept taking Elijah out, maybe could've won otherwise ...13 fucking points OL looked pretty solid at least
