Also just saw that Soccernet will have some sort of fantasy game available after the draw. i'll check it ou and maybe we can create a Soccer Board league there.
FIFA is currently prepping the lube. Is this going to be a drawn out show or are they going to release all of them at once?
Prediction: will get fucked We will be in group with Chile (which will be the only easy win of group ) This board will go nutz
What are your plans for the World Cup?? I already asked for the days Chile plays off, but I am gonna be pretty useless the whole month. I dont think there is any other sporting event that compares to the World Cup, I can literally watch every single game of this competition. Sucks that some games will be around 6 AM EST.
i just hope we avoid france and dont draw a group with 2 UEFA teams. I do hope we have a group with one UEFA team or Brazil (FIFA usually gives the big euro and brazil pretty easy group draws, so we may be able to advance as the 2nd team)
Me and some buddies are gonna take a celebratory road trip to South Carolina after graduation. Gonna get a hotel or a condo not far from Myrtle Beach. Just watch soccer and / all day then go to the beach and party. Should be awesome. I got frickin class at 11, so im going to have my friend send me texts thru the whole thing :curses:
Only words that comes to mind are: "Beautiful football" In all seriousness, they have the talent (Sneijder, van Persie, van der Sar, etc) just need to demonstrate on the field.
Don't know the pots off the top of my head. Just like when it came to club soccer vs national soccer (odp system), I choose to care more about club football. Call me unpatriotic (I do freaking love WC) but I've never been a huge usmnt fan
lmao at ESPN's lame attempt to be multi-cultural in that soccer intro. who the hell were those people, what other sport on ESPN has a bunch of random actors for the intro instead of actual stars...what a joke.
Anybody got a good quality English stream that is working. I am watching the Univision feed currently.
Live feeds from Nevada Smith's in NYC and a bar in London for reaction shots on ESPN2. Interview w/ Morgan Freeman (because he's playing Mandela) to come later. Alexi is kinda annoying but from Rutgers. Go !
