And just as expected we crash out of the FA Cup. Better that way anyway, we do not have the depth to be playing any cup games.
Is Alan's job being saved by the fact that you guys have no one playing? I understand that y'all are short-handed, but it seems like after they fell behind in our game the players on the field gave up. Same with this game. didn't see much fight.
today was straight reserve team, and we have no attacking bite without cabaye/ben arfa/marveaux. So when we play reserves, we struggle to create chances. But overall, the injuries are saving him. If we were doing this at full strength(which I can't imagine we would), then he'd be in trouble
We have 5/6 starters out and Alan was given no depth this summer. It's just a shit year and have to get through it and move on. I personally really like Pardew and want us to keep him.
Yeah, I figured he was given a little leeway, but it's the giving up the past couple of games that was weird to me.
I don't think we've given up... we were at 4-3 with arsenal and they scored 3 in the last 5min, man u they scored a injury time winner, everton was close... Just a really tough run of games with a depleted schedule.
if we sign remy, i'm hoping he goes out right. if so we look like this right? cisse hatem-marveaux-remy tiote/anita-cabaye
We will see. At this rate we will barely be able to buy to cover what we are losing rather than improving. We need a replacement to start over Williamson and will not be able to bring in two CBs if we lose our captain. I know he is struggling with his personal life right now whether the wife is sick or he screwed someone else, but at the end of the day your a professional so you have to be a man of your word.
people think Roma want him but idk. Never heard of this guy before 2 days ago. Roma bought Balzaretti in the summer to be the left back but he has been a terrible bust.
"I have not been contacted. Newcastle could interest me. It wouldn't bother me to play there, moving to a club where there are already a lot of French speakers would help me settle in. “I have a preference for England. This is the championship that attracts me. I'm not into the idea of going at all costs. I will leave if there is a good proposal for me and my club. I'm twenty-years-old and not in such a hurry to leave. Nancy gives me the opportunity to play and it's important at my age.”
Everything was set up for Remy to travel to Newcastle to discuss terms and have a medical earlier in the week, but then QPR moved in and offered £85K/week and that seemed to turn the French International’s head. Apparently his advisers had requested a medical to take place in London rather than Newcastle, and Newcastle though that would be OK, but the agents were not straight up and didn’t tell Newcastle he was going to talk to QPR. Newcastle thought it was OK to have the medical in London, because they can do everything there they can do in Newcastle, and both Remy and his advisers had told Newcastle officials the Tyneside club was his number one choice. That was before QPR came in and offered £85K/week and apparently QPR owner Tony Fernandes also personally talked to the player to inform him of the QPR plans for the future. So it seems that Newcastle were blind-sided by Remy’s move to QPR – and by the time they found out what was really going on, there was nothing they could do about it.

Nancy's Massadio Haidara played his last game tonight at #Toulousebefore signing for #NUFC (via / @beinsport) need to get a striker still. also need hba back. If marveaux doesn't start every game the rest of the way, pardew is a retard. i'd rather have obertan on than jonas
According to @lequipe Montepellier has indeed reached an agreement of €8M for Mbiwa. Mbiwa will travel to #NUFC early next week.
Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas Understand Yanga-Mbiwa deal is at an advanced stage. More so than Remy was. MYM be unveiled in early part of next week. #nufc Has to mean he is in Newcastle for a medical no? That is where Remy broke down. Everything agreed except the medical. Would be huge get. I see this as a replacement for Williamson who is a Championship player.
Lee Ryder @lee_ryder Told Coloccini's advisors on Tyneside. They know they will have to pay for the player and have a backer. #nufc
NUFCfans.co.uk @nufcfans According to @RMCsport, #Nancy has agreed a €3.5M fee for Massadio Haidara. The player will sign a five and a half year deal with#NUFC.
Je me demande si ce serait bouleversé si les gens nous parlaient uniquement en français à partir de maintenant? Je parie 514 serait énervé, no?
Moussa Sissoko, excellent Vieira-like (I know) midfielder, joins Newcastle, says my well-informed colleague @jseverin11. #NUFC #Toulouse
Toon Army NYC @toonarmynyc I can't correctly pronounce most of our new signings names. I will give them all more pronounceable nicknames. Mbiwa will be know as Mark
GraemeBailey And with Newcastle, before the deadline it could easily be five or six French players coming in.
Lee Ryder @lee_ryder San Lorenzo have now confirmed on their website: "Finally, after long negotiations,we announce that Coloccini will not join the squad" #nufc Colo-Mbiwa with Steven Taylor rotating.
NUFCfans.co.uk @nufcfans Oh dear. Independent say Fabricio Coloccini has quit #NUFC. He has told club officials he does not want to play another game.#Tevez
