My performance on the I Know the Score predictor on talkSPORT was not much better. Correct 5 out of 11 and hit 2 on the correct score (Stoke/Reading and West Ham/Villa)
Goose, who's ass did you kiss to get in here. The list is long, but distinguished. Yeah, so's my Johnson.
Cech Cole Vermaelen Jagielka Dembele Nani Cazorla Sinclair Lambert Podolski Rooney scored 51 week one.
I'm trying to pick between Walters, McClean and Nolan going forward (with Ba) or Yaya (with Lambert). Thoughts? Lambert has some tough games, but it only took him 3 minutes to score against City.
I would advise that fantasy soccer is stupid and based mostly on luck. Doesn't judge any of the characteristics of fantasy football (NFL) which would be production, fantasy soccer basically rewards a QB/TE catching a 1 yard TD on a bootleg and ignores the RB that had a 50 yard run to the goal line. That being said, does add some suspense to the 8 am Stoke/Villa match that no one outside of their fan base would care about.
Coming off the WC, team looks like this: (102 points last week) Vorm (5.5) Baines (7.0) Cuellar (4.5) Chalobah (4.0) Bale (9.5) Michu (6.5) McClean (6.5) Nasri (8.5) Hazard (9.5) Tevez (9.1) Lambert (6.0) Subs: Cerny (4.0) Bent (8.5) A. Williams (5.0) S. Taylor (5.0) Chalobah doesn't play, so Bent will get subbed in. I've got 1.4 left over to play with, so I may switch in Cisse or Adebayor in the morning instead of Bent, although I think Bent could be better value with AV's new coach.
It is true you get nothing additional for the vice. But when your captain for the week could at any point decide he does not want to play and go golfing; the vice becomes a big time player.
Might have to start captaining Hazard. I went with Bale this week (because Tevez is away and I wasn't sure on Michu yet) and he managed all of 2 points for me.
I knew I should of captained Hazard or Vorm but I ended up with Bale because of his match up. Fucker has one more week on my team before he gets dropped unless he steps it up. Next week will be tough without my Chelsea duo that has gotten me a shit ton of points
I'd like to add Michu but I trust Swansea's defense way too much to give them up. Who the fuck is this Michu character anyway?
Had 15 goals in 37 La Liga matches for Rayo Vallecano in La Liga last year. Swansea Mgr Michael Laudrup is extremely knowledgeable about Spain/La Liga so he was aware of his talent.
I will likely use my wildcard after this week is finished. Want to see who is moving where. The timing of the moves will prevent several from playing this weekend.
All 3 of my bench spots are taken by guys that wont play this weekend so hopefully everyone on my team starts.
Played the wildcard this week and got 42 points. 12 changes in total. Hopefully set up for the season now.
I check it before every match week. I am rolling with Suarez, Ba, Bale, Hazard, HBA, Fellani(just added him), Carzorla, and a decent defense but keep dropping in the standings for some reason.
