I don't want to clutter up the book 5 thread with all this stuff, but I've been reading a lot of the prophecy analysis on westeros.org at http://www.westeros.org/Citadel/Prophecies/ and figured we could have a thread to discuss this stuff. I already posted in the book 5 thread that I thought Arya may be involved in Shitty AMC Show of Robert Strong. this is what made me think of that: I know that's from book 1 and there's no telling if GRRM had an idea where the plot would take Arya or Gregor at that point, but both of their parts in the prophecy seem unresolved at this point.
I was skeptical at first, but I'm pretty sure that GRRM has the entire story story boarded out somewhere. I think he's gotten into a little more detail here or there or added in some minor side stories or places they end up and thats why the number of books has expanded. But he's definitely got it all planned, least for a while. He might have two or three different ones though.
i think so too, but its tough to translate the story into thousand page books. he knows whats going to happen, or at least hte main plot lines, but the details are the tough part
bored so reading threads on westeros.org love this thread where they talk about Bran controlling the ravens and thus controlling the flow of information. somebody mentions the old saying about Bloodraven - "How many eyes does Bloodraven have? A thousand eyes and one". maybe Bloodraven used this method as well when he was Hand? could be an interesting plotline going forward. http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/topic/60407-bran/
