I'm usually with you rainey, but after the citizens finish behind us the next two seasons Klopp will be available again just as Arsene is hanging up his parka. His english will be better, he'll know the league and he'll be eager to be united with Reus. It's too perfect.
Tend to think we just unload some more dead weight this summer: Poldi, Campbell, Flamini, Diaby The only way Theo or Jack leave is by their choice... chasing more playing time.
Not sure we could even get rid of Flamini or Lulu on a free, who the hell would want Flamini on 50-60k a week
Flamini will be here next year most likely. Lulu will go somewhere in Germany. We'd probably even pay part of his wages to get rid of him. He's approaching Arshavin status in terms of Wenger hating him.
Reading manager calling his shot. “When we beat Arsenal we have to wait four weeks after our last league game to play the cup final. This is also not correct,” said Clarke, who quipped that his use of “when” was “not a slip of the tongue”.
If he stays, he'll likely want a 2 year extension from us. That way he'll be able to squeeze in one more big contract before he's too old. If he decides he wants to try his luck elsewhere, where he isn't buried out wide & on the depth chart, he'll cash in on a 4-5 year mega deal to whomever is dumb enough to pay him. I've seen reports of us letting Flamini out of his contract a year early to get more games elsewhere. Flamini is a good/versatile squad player regardless... capable of filling in across the back 4 & in midfield. Will be good insurance for us next season. Poldi will likely end back at Cologne, like you said
There's nothing good about Flamini, all he does is invite pressure since he lost whatever skill he ever had. Would rather put on an extra attacker with the lead than him.
Good article on our Mesut. Got my Santi alternate today, like it a lot. http://www.sport-magazine.co.uk/features/who-are-you-calling-lazy
I'd like to keep him, think he can be a really good sub for Mesut or Cazorla/Ramsey. Hard to justify his salary as injury prone super sub though. Rough season for almost all of our Brits.
I worry that if jack by some miracle stayed healthy for a whole year, Santi might head home at 31. Santi's game doesn't seem like one that would diminish with age.
Feels like Santi has been around longer than 3 years. Should cement a very nice legacy if he stays around a few more years.
FA Cup game the same time as United/Chelsea is just stupid. Also the Wizards play game 1 at the same time, shitty.
Fine with the starting lineup, fuck Flamini making the bench over Hector and Rosicky. Arsenal FC @Arsenal 19m19 minutes ago .ARSENAL team to play Reading: Szczesny, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Coquelin, Ramsey, Cazorla, Ozil, Alexis, Welbeck #RFCvAFC
Nacho could play RB, he can also play DM so Flamini is pointless. I really hate Flamini, his shittyness sticks out so much more now that we're good.
Giroud comes on, immediately wins a header to set up a set piece...team is so different with him on the field.
