false, he has no humor at all. overtalks people all the time and weirdly cuts other people off while talking even though he makes sure no one ever gets a word in until he is done talking, I mean whining.
Fwiw this thread got me listening to the ticket when I moved out here a couple of years ago...this is after living in Alabama for 24 years.
Ticket hot takes: -Norm and Donovan are unlistenable (seems to be a universal opinion) -Bob and Dan are just ok...nothing special. Jake is a douche and knows it which can be amusing sometimes (see April fools open) -George is a big whiny pussy but is necessary to the musers. Love how Gordo always rips on him in his bits -Danny Balis is fucking horrible if given more than 20 seconds to talk. He's ok when chiming in but his long rants are unlistenable -Difficult to listen to the hardline talk sports at times. Seems their sports knowledge is pretty far below any of the other shows. It usually consists of a quck rundown of whatever they're talking about and then Corby and Mike just make general statements and repeat themselves for the rest of the segment. Love entertainment news and community quick hits though...
The only show I can't listen to is Norm and D. I'll listen to Norm's picks sometimes but in general I just don't like the show. Bob and Dan isn't as good as Musers or Hardline but it's still funny and has some of the best sports discussion. I got into the station through tmb and I drive all over town for my job so I listen all day. I hit NPR from 10-noon usually
The ticket is basically worthless for sports talk. Doesn't matter to me because I don't listen to it for that at all.
Norm is good for picks and some kinda outside the box sports analysis but in general I dislike him and Donny Bob knows sports things
Bob is easily the most knowledgeable and best sports guy. I would be a p1 of a bob/jake show if they sent tc back to Florida. Gordo is easily the best to listen to/funniest and has underrated intelligence. Junes is the best double threat. I think jake has something but tries too hard sometimes. Everybody else I could take or leave. Really don't care for corby/tc/Sean/mike I'm an daily omg (o-deck/muse in news/Gordo corner) and other Muse segments and occasional 12-3 listener depending on the run sheet bob posts on twitter. Can't stand the hardline
I used to love Corby but his bit has become stale. Dude can't stop getting on his high horse in every discussion.
I never actually replied to this I don't think. I moved here and tmb guys told me about the station. My job involves me being in my car almost all day driving around, so when I'm working in the area and not traveling I listen all day and grew to really like it. This year I've listened a ton because I've been here in the area rather than other cities like last year.
I wish I would've been able to listen while Greggo was on the air or alternatively I wish he hadn't gotten fired for cocaine abuse
Worst fucking songs I've ever heard. They use those as fillers if the stream goes down and they make me want to jump out my office window
Every Granada ad is fucking awful, and it doesn't help they buy up a schedule rivaled in frequency only by Draft Kings. Those Bob Schneider ads from a couple years ago still give me PTSD.

Mostly agree with this, although I would probably move Rhyner up in the funniness category and move George down. Just don't find his whiny ass funny at all
No one is worse with sports talk than Corby. Gordon barely watches sports and I have heard him give more insightful opinions about football than I have ever heard from Corby. Corby is a moron.
On the sports talk ratings I would say 1) Bob (even though he is a know it all and acts like a child when he is wrong) 2) Norm 3) Junes the rest of the station (aside from Rhynes with Baseball and maybe Corby with golf)

My first 7th grade basketball game was at First Baptist on the 7th floor of the downtown building their school was in. I made a layup at the buzzer to give us the win in a 33-31 thriller. So I guess what I'm saying is if Cubes needs any ideas on winning basketball games in downtown skyscraper gyms I'd be willing to let him bounce some ideas off of me.
