Velocity way down, Ks way down, walks way up. Only thing saving him was his babip was like .100 but xFIP was like 440 so it shouldn't be pretty.
if holland can't handle the brewers he's going to really struggle in the all star game (I'm just assuming he's the starter)
decided to go with some #ColdHardFacts for the thread title anyone who looks at the all star lineup will agree this is the best team in the history of the sport
This is what should happen but Ned is loyal to a fault. Esky is still hitting leadoff despite having a .205 OBP over the past month (and sub .300 on the year). Infante still finds himself in the lineup every day while sporting a .170 OBP over the past month. I love me some Holland but he just hasn't been the same pitcher this year as he has been in the past. If he hits 94 these days it is surprising. 2 years ago, he hits 94 and everyone is wondering what is wrong. Even his slider doesn't have the bite it once had. Sidenote, what the fuck was Rios doing in the 3 hole for Saturday's game?! Meanwhile, Gordon is in the 6 hole with his .380 OBP. Baffling.
And here I thought we would be the same/better with Rios instead of Aoki. Then Aoki goes to SF and starts sporting a .400 OBP.
Best record in AL, and Ned is the winningest manager in Royals history. What a time to be a live, right dblplay1212 ?
Scott Aukerman Matt Besler Hilarie Burton Dustin Colquitt Chris Daughtry Neil Flynn Josh Hopkins Travis Kelce Johnny Knoxville Dave Koechner Samm Levine Joe Lo Truglio Seth Morris Missi Pyle Kevin Rahm Rob Riggle Paul Rudd Robert Smigel Martin Starr Eric Stonestreet Jason Sudeikis Aisha Tyler James Van Der Beek George Wendt David Zayas
If you told me 3/5 of our rotation would be Chris Young, Joe Blanton and Yohan Pino I would guarantee we'd be 13 games under .500 not over.
It's pretty crazy that our record is as good as it is with our starters being hurt pretty much all year. Kudos to Dave Eiland. I still can't believe that Joe Blanton is on a Major League roster, let alone having some success.
