I'm curious as to why the game yesterday wasn't an afternoon game. On get away days they usually are. These guys get into Boston at 5am, probably get 3-4 hours sleep, and look pretty lifeless tonight. Not a big deal either way, but with no bullpen either, and a 14 game division lead, they have every reason to not give a shit tonight.
It's only a two hour flight from Cincy to Boston, which wouldn't have been a huge deal if there wasn't a two hour rain delay and if that wasn't the slowest-played game in the history of baseball
The organization loves Guthrie, I'm guessing he'll go to the bullpen and come pitch in blow outs or spot start if someone gets banged up. Also, happy Cueto Day everyone!!!
Guthrie came in a trade for Jonathan Sanchez, who was complete and utter dogshit. Guthrie was not good, but he ate a lot of innings for us and came on a complete flyer. He also seems like a good dude on twitter, so I'll remember him in a positive light. If we have some blowouts in the future, hopefully he can eat those innings.
Man, we've just been playing like dog shit these two games. Guess we'll blame it on that shitty travel schedule.
Guthrie is such a dilemma for me. Cool guy, easy to root for, the shoe collection... I really like the guy I just don't want him to pitch anymore We have looked like hell in Boston. We all know Cain is the man in CF but he looked kinda bad tonight. Still, it is hard for me to get too upset about any game right now because of the lead we have in the division. I no longer hang on every inning of every game.. and it is a very weird feeling, but I will take it.

I personally love Hud and Ryan. Sure, they're cheesy and sarcastic and all that, but they keep things light and aren't painfully boring (cough, Physioc, cough)
Listened to Ryan and Denny tonight and they were great. Can't stand hud and Phys. God Phys is unbearable and hud without Ryan hacking on him every other sentence can be just as bad.
