I've been thoroughly disappointed with the show this season aside for a few arcs. That spoiler actually makes me excited.
what's magicky about the dire wolves other than their symbolism in the story. Their wolf hybrids that you can actual buy right now.
Yeah. I love animals and I love GoT, but if one of my neighbors walks by my house with a horse-sized wolf on a leash, I'm going to freak the hell out.
they aren't the size of horses they were pony size, unless this is what you consider a horse again they are one of the least "magicky" things on the show considering dire wolves actually did exits. btw here's your direwolf cgi from the show in the first 10-20 seconds of this video
They have been extinct for thousands of years. Either way in just suggesting that might be one of the reasons they have been reduced in air time. Feel free to continue to debate the point though.
Just started a re-read and read that chapter last night. So good. Definitely feel there was a drop off in the writing in the later books.
Just picked up my re read after a long hiatus. Currently in the Bran chapter where Robb leaves Winterfell with his army. Going south rarely works out well for members of House Stark (except for Jon Snow ).
I'd bitch but eventually the money ends, even for HBO. If it didn't, I'd have gotten like 60 episodes of Rome instead of 20. HBO's the only reason the show looks this good anyway, nobody else could afford to put on such a production. That isn't to say I don't wish we had more Ghost action but it is what it is.
No idea why they went away from this as the Others. He looks so much more badass than the recent iterations.
here is the full thing for anyone interested lol Ramsay and Reek at the 5 minute mark Rastafarian Targaryen
I'd like to see Jon get got the final scene of episode 9 then have episode 10 go through 99% without even addressing it. The last minute of 10 have ghost wandering through castle black sneakily looking for Jon. He finds him in a room somewhere ready to burn the next day. He starts licking his face then growls/howls at him and Jon jerks awake with the same eyes as ghost. /scene
I was thinking something along those lines. Jon gets got at Hardhome. Fast forward to the end of episode 10, Sansa either fucks Ramsey up in the last scene, or Stannis has already won the battle and Boss Sansa is now the ruler of Winterfell. Then it switches to Hardhome where you see the Nights King do his thing where he puts his finger on someones forehead, zoom out, and its Jon, with blue eyes. /season 5
How large is each episode file, generally? I'm going to stream it on my iPad but I don't want to go over my data cap...
Meh...Imma going start hitting the beers soon, watch the Cavs jailsex the Hawks for a bit and then I'll be into GoT mode
A lot of my excitement was looking forward to big events in the book. Oh yes! red wedding is coming Purple wedding is coming ! oberyn v mountain. Now what ? john getting murked? If that even happens ? I'm just kind of in a wait and see mode
