He's really grown on me. Used to be one of my least favorites but turned into one of my favorites now
Sansa's going to kill someone. It would take some spectacularly bad writing from B&W and/or GRRM to take the most innocent and naive person we're introduced to and toy with the idea of her becoming Littlefinger Jr.-ess and then not do anything with it. She's going to learn someone's weakness, find out that they did something to her family, and end up being the death of them. Hmm, now what could possibly happen along that line if she gets married off to a Bolton? I could see her playing the long con and turning Ramsey against Roose because now that he's legitimized he's one step away from being Warden of the North. Ramsey kills Roose, she kills Ramsey, she's back where she started and in charge of the North. Like, yea yea Sansa but I think I'm about to buy a whole bunch of Sansa stock because George loves to write awesome shit for the women in his books and giving Sansa this enormous arc where she ends up an intelligent, ruthless, badass woman is right up his alley.
^or, she remains the naive and stupid cunt she has been all along and is taken advantage of through the end of her life.... I hope that is the case, because there is not a thing I've liked about her since the beginning of the show or through my reading of the books.
So if they are really going to try and marry Sansa off does that mean all of the sudden it's cool that everyone knows where she is? I mean... Cersei isn't going to just let her chill.
p sure people think littlefinger won't reveal who she is so he can have his "daughter" marrying the heir to the north. but won't people in the north who aren't complete dipshits recognize her?
When the Kindly Man says he's not Jaqen Hgar, is he actually saying he's not him or is it more of a "no one is anyone" thing? That felt like a major book spoiler but now I'm just confused by it
you don't have a complaint that Brienne who has sworn to protect the stark girls just announced in front of a crowded inn that Sansa, the fugitive wife of the man convicted of the murder of the king is travelling with littlefinger?
I just assume that Jaqen was the name he assumed with that identity at the time. I mean what are the chances that arya happened to meet this faceless man at the time he was using his real name and appearance?
hop a plane to a terrible part of the world and be amazed how far people go to ignore and avoid hearing stuff other people say out loud in public despite what they may believe or want to do about it. being noble and doing the right thing in a shitty part of the world gets people killed. the more powerful a person is in that scenario the safer they are because nobody in their right mind is snitching on Littlefinger for some piddly reward they won't get to enjoy before Littlefinger sends someone to kill them for it.
it's next week or the week after because people have been talking about it because of the leaks. I'd guess next week just because one of the first things Jon does as LC is separate Thorne and Slynt.
this story isn't set in a terrible part of the world. it's set in the world where Catelyn Stark announces in a crowded inn that she's taking tyrion to winterfell then takes him to the vale because she knows the information will travel. then you've got all the spies commanded by varys and littlefinger. but nope. in this particular instance, no one will talk.
had the 4th episode spoiled. saw the screenshot. wasn't my fault, went into a thread for spoilers elsewhere not knowing it contained pirated ones.
also Dany is world class retarded and it's funny how her line is the closest to the books. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh if that bitch didn't have those dragons
Honestly, aside from how much I'm looking forward to the Arya in Bravos storyline, I am most curious about the 2 show-invented ones: Bros Gone Wild: Jaime/Bronn Dornish Spring Break And the LF/Sansa/Brienne/Pod new line. ALSO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KEEP ANY SPOILERS OR TALK OF SPOILERS OUT OF HERE PLEASSEEEE
Yeah they were going to have to invent a new arc for Jaime as they have made no mention of continuing unrest in the Riverlands. Hopefully Blackfish will turn up at some point in the near future though.
