I believe it was mentioned in the books that it was. Not specifically "undead", but seem to remember it saying something about rotted flesh or something along those lines.
I don't think you can train an elk to ride. I'm no elk expert but they aren't domesticated so I'm gonna say that's more expensive. Final answer.
quick juggsian research leads me to believe no one has tried, or at least documented their attempts. i gladly accept the challenge
Looked kind of stupid in The Hobbit when the Elf showed up on a moose. One of those things that sounds awesome in theory, but doesn't quite translate well to the screen. Then again, I watched a documentary about a man that rescued a young buffalo, nursed him back to health, learned to ride him, and performed innumerable acts of heroism aboard said buffalo and that was the most chill thing I've ever witnessed.
HBO puts out a press release, season 7 will have 7 eps & will premiere sometime in the summer, i'm expecting late june early julyish
Had read a while back that d&d had originally proposed to go 73-75 episodes, hope these last 13 are as epic as ep. 6.09&6.10 were...
Last time I went to Yellowstone I saw a group of out-of-staters encircling a terrified 7-pointer (homeboy was massive, looked like he survived the Pleistocene), throwing their small children on its back, and taking turns snapping photographs for family vacation albums (and if there is a god, social services).
It would be great to get to know bittersteel. I imagine he's a much more sympathetic character than he now seems. That's martins way.
At the end of the day though, the Blackfyre rebellions had zero merit and I find it hard to have any sympathy for any Blackfyre loyalist.
No one posted that season 8 is confirmed to be the end? We of course suspected as much, but it's official.
I mean Daeoron was nothing but The Dragonknight and Naerys' love child so why should he be king over an actual offspring of Aegon? One that he pronounces his rightful heir by bestowing him with their familial sword btw.

Get ready for the Westeros Squeeze. Dragons from the south, Walkers from the north. 6 years (or 20, really) of plot setup in the making.
I'm guessing maybe a Maester at the Citadel that plays a big role in whatever is going on with Sam there?
Spoiler The actor who plays our favorite rower was spotted in Belfast today He must have arms the size of the mountain by now
Martin and HBO both open to a prequel series once this and the books are over. Obviously he'll never finish the books anyway but pipe dreams are fun.
Spoiler Emilia Clarke confirmed that season 7 has an 'epic battle' towards the end, as like most seasons Guessing it's Euron/Cersei vs. The south + Dany, which Dany should win handedly barring she doesn't get crillled by Euron at sea
Just speculation from me on that Spoiler Dany wins the battle, takes the throne, and the focus then moves to the war against the whitewalkers?
History of Westeros podcast is doing a series on the Blackfyre Rebellions and it's all so incestuous that I'm convinced there's just no way GRRM isn't really into his family.
