It's that, plus assuming he's not a great free throw shooter, it gives you more options for good free throw shooters to end up with the ball.
If Vandy misses the tourney is there a chance they move on from Stallings? He's been there forever but this was supposed to be his best team in quite a while and they're 13-10, and he hasn't put together a good season in a while iirc. Very disappointing season for them thus far
If Mizzou hired Bill Self instead of Quin Snider, Mizzou would have landed Tyler Hansbrough and UNC wouldnt have had that National Championship Izzo would have had one more. Mizzou would be good at basketball right now instead of being coached by Kim Anderson Mike Anderson would have gone straight to Arkansas after Stan Heath. He would have been fired by now and Arkansas would probably being coached by Corliss Williamson. Frank Haith stays at Miami as as result he never hires Tim Fuller from Pitino. Louisville would have gotten in trouble much earlier, fired Pitino and hired Cal from the Nets. UK is stuck hiring after Pearl after Tubby.
Didnt stop uK from hiring Gllispsie. Plus I was just being silly. I doubt the timelines even match up
God I wish we never had to endure Stan Heath, and subsequently Pelphrey If we hired Anderson instead of Heath we would have kept Iguodala and wouldn't have been so god awful for 15+ years
Just read up on Iggy. Didnt know he was headed to Arkansas. Regardless does 2 years of Iggy make that much of a difference in the long run? Also, I know this is all hypothetical but was hiring Anderson impossible with the way shit went down w Nolan?
Iggy would have definitely made a difference. Think we also had JJ Sullinger before he transferred to Ohio St and would have been able to make a run at both Oden and Conley had Anderson stayed. Who knows if Al Jefferson would have decided to come to Arkansas either rather than turn pro too. To answer your 2nd question, yes. Broyles was a dirty racist. Heath was just a yessir type
Holy shit it's funny that the sec refs tried to not call a traveling call on miss states players fighting for a rebound.
tonights performance ties Arkansas worst SEC loss in program history, tying the 75-43 loss to Florida in 2011 under Pelphrey.
Florida and white made zero adjustments the last 8-9 minutes against ole miss in the zone on offense and on defense against moody driving Glad to just get a win
Kind of unrelated, but Kingsley have any intention to test the waters on the NBA after the season, or is he gonna stick around?
no idea... I don't think anyone could understand what the fuck he was saying if the question was asked anyways
no, it was in Gainesville January 22, 2011 8:00 p.m., FSNArkansasW 75–43 15–4 (4–1)O'Connell Center Gainesville, FL
impressive, really HogStats.com@HogStats I have UA's game-by-game field goal %s for its last 1,221 games (dating back to 3/11/1978) - tonight's 22.2% FG% is its worst in that span.
We missed everything from 1' in to 30' out. Couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if it were 0.5' infront of us.
Even though he gets talked about way too much, I am pretty excited to see Ben Simmons play live tonight
Somehow I had yet to hear Ben Simmons speak in an interview until recently. His accent is like an exact split between midwestern US and Australian. Kinda funny.
I knew Auburn was an absolute basketball graveyard, but even I didn't think it could destroy Bruce Pearl's career completely like this. From never having a losing season in his career to likely back to back 20 loss years. Yikes.
Destroy his career? Hes bringing in the best class auburn has had since I can remember. Injuries have killed our season
Don't see a class with 1 top 100 player making much of a difference. Y'all are losing 2 of your top 4 scorers (assuming Canty is back next year), and losing both of your top 2 rebounders. Seems like it would be a pretty big surprise if Auburn was very good next year too. Killing a good coach's career. It's a shame.
yea the #25 player and the outskirt of top 100 at 106. Purifoy should be eligible for next season. 2 or 3 of our guards back from injury. Canty should be back. Adding 7'2 center Trayvon Reed back to the roster who was a top 100 player out of hs. TJ Dunnans will be back from injury, I don't think we will be very good, but we will be much better than the rag tag team we have trotted out this season. And the 2017 Class has a top 20 player committed and a top 40 player already. Such destruction.
first time really watching south carolina play, yall look pretty good, like the way you post thornwell but good god that crowd is awful on some obvious calls against, and the overrated chants on simmons, haha
Our student sections is filled with a bunch of TC 's that don't quite know what's going on yet. Give them some time.
14 team fouls apiece at halftime Simmons spent a lot of time on the bench first half w fouls but carrera did too. He sat w like 17 minutes left. Looking for both of them to be big second half
It's actually kind of amazing the way they can connect literally everything back to a conversation about him
We looked a lot better tonight than we usually do. Normally we'll play a scrappy, ugly style of ball in which we either make or break the game in the last 8ish minutes. Tonight we controlled it from the start, which was odd but definitely welcomed. No doubt about the overrated chants. My goodness. The guy didn't drop 30 on us so he must be overrated.
