Just finished. Those suitcase guys worked a really creative deal. First I recall seeing a deal like that. They bet big time on themselves to pay off that loan. If it works out - they nailed it.
My comment to my wife was I bet she has a really high employee turnover. She didn't find it funny. What I don't get is- she pays them $16 to make a purse, they can only make 3 a week. So at minimum wage, she's only get 6 hours per week, per employee? I mean I know they're old but that seems unsustainable... especially if you lose chuncks of workers to illness and death every year. Cool concept just don't see it being big enough for a shark.
Actually know one of the Korean girls in that beauty supply thing. Nice enough girl. Surprised she didn't hit up one of her billionaire hedge fund ex-boyfriends to fund this company.
Shark Tank has been a life altering TV show for me. My grandma, mother in law, wife, and mother all like it. Any shark tank product = guaranteed hit Christmas gift.
I think it works well for a short time but they dont last long and it is too expensive to only use that. We bought two but only use them once in a while and still buy the normal three pack sponges.
Shit man, my other sink sponges and shit last much longer. Also they start tearing apart and leaving yellow strands all over my sink. Did not think it cleaned that well either.
I know Gaston from UCF. That is at least 2 UCF guys this season who got deals. I think a 3rd is coming on soon. Its funny seeing him go from this very preppy Mr. UCF guy to man bun guy who lives in a basement in my friend's place in Brooklyn.
Got my brother in law a fire fighter bottle breacher. He loves the show and I'm liking my chances of it being his favorite gift.
Just saw Friday's episode. Died laughing at the hand bags. It matched up perfectly with Happy Gilmore. When Mr. Wonderful said he needed to increase production by 4x, I immidiately said, "Good news, we are extending arts and crafts time by 4 hours today"
I dont know what product was more of a crock of shit. The $600 christmas lights or the "all natural" deodorant You know your pricepoint is fucking insane when the billionaires are scoffing at it.
shes so passive aggressive. the guys pay her no attention because she has literally the opposite opinions of everyone else
So many surprising decisions made. The lady at the end with the super annoying face was a tough one to end on. Top 3 most annoying face I've seen on the show.
It's because of Barbara. It's always because of Barbara. I absolutely loathe her. She always had that, I'm shocked at what I'm hearing face. She also tilted her head to the side like a dog constantly.
Nah The products were mostly useless and the people were mostly morons. I mean you had a spray that went in your mouth and on your hands. Reject overproved veggies. A dying business about curly hair cream. And then a placemat plate. Just yuck
I would have taken Barbara's offer for the curly hair cream. I mean you could sit back and let her make all the decisions and still get 2/3s of the profit all the while focusing on your somewhat successful hair salon. Seems like a good deal for someone like her. I'm still shocked two of the products on that episode got a deal anyways.
Barbara's offer was the best but she wasn't the best shark for them. Lori with her QVC ins were a better fit IMO IYAM IMHO.
That "Fixed" app seems like it could be huge. Awesome idea imo. I'd definitely use it for a speeding ticket or something like that if they eventually get there.
Yeah it was a bunch but when you're worth $2 Billion what the hell. Plus as I said I think its a genius idea
most attorney's charge $70.00 to get rid of a ticket. doubt they will be able to do it for much cheaper. Also, did anyone else know the new guy invested in Uber?
They said on the show they charged 35% of the cost of the parking ticket if they get it dismissed. That's obviously much less than $70. If it were a speeding ticket I'm sure it would be less than an attorneys fee because they aren't having actual lawyers do the work. Plus it would be a hell of a lot more convenient. Chris Sacca. He's been on at least one episode before if not more.
I think he's been on just once before. He's mentioned he got in early on Uber approximately 9,000 times in both episodes. Robert "What's for lunch" Sacca "IDK but the day I got in early on Uber, I had a PB&J" Barb "When is Easter this year?" Sacca "March 26, which is 1,232 days after I bought Uber"
She's incredible....and wearing a bra in the video on their website.... http://thebeardking.com/#prettyPhoto/0/ Lots of good pics of her on her Instagram page too... https://www.instagram.com/alessiaandrade/
also the shittiness of the first three products were toned down just because of the Cuban vs. Sacca fight that was awesome
It was pretty shitty of him to just shit on all of the sharks like that tbqh, but not shocking coming from him also enjoyed Daymond's side comments during the fight and then afterwards laughing at the fact that the guy didn't even acknowledge Mr. Wonderful. That was nice.
I really didn't get the concept of that Spooner board thing. Crazy to me that those guys even sold as many of them as they had up to this point.
Not really. I mean it looked like all you could do was just spin around in a circle really I think they mentioned people can use it on the slopes. That might be more interesting/fun.
