So the tabloids are now saying Bob Bradley may be the next Swansea manager if we fall to Liverpool this weekend.
So odd. I don't like the idea of bringing in someone with no premier league experience at this point.
Likes 433 even with Gylfi not playing centrally I think We played our best with this formation of all the formations FG has played this year. However if I was the manager Gylfi would always play in the center of the pitch so I can use his creativeness. Vdh getting a pl start Borja starting Oli McBurnie made the bench as did Mawson. Eh Rangel Naughton on the left Fuck No Montero at all? Injury? Why is Routledge starting, let alone playing.
Good 1h, absolutely horrific 2h. Why can't we simply throw the ball in without giving it back? Shocking how bad we are. Doesn't get any easier with Arsenal next week. Hope the club make a decision to either sack FG or to back him, can't keep going on with the unknown.
Fer is a lazy defender and poor passer and his inclusion in the lineup forced Gylfi out to wing. Guidolin chose to put Fer as the focus of this offense instead of Gylfi. Fuck him.
I'm not sure it's congrats yet though and that's what worries me. For all the years this club was run sound, it's now a damn circus.
I will say this. Thank you baby jesus that we didn't hire Ryan Giggs that would have been a horrific decision.
I liked the Chris Coleman rumor that was going around. I think that would have been a good hire and it would have made the fans happy too. If Giggs' name wasn't connected to this scandal, I wouldn't have minded him either. I don't like bringing in another manager that doesn't know the players and having him take forever to figure it out. That's what we just fired.
Still like Mo. Still don't like Routledge or Fer. Could have stolen a point if Gylfi hadn't skyed that one. We'll see what we can do against Watford.
That was an entertaining match for sure. Two really weak goals given up though. Really need to bring in new defenders in January. Want to see more Mike vdH with his height and defending and attacking corners. Barrow was awesome and really controlled the match for us. Nice to see Borja and Gylfi score. Overall I'm pretty happy with what I saw this week. Still a lot of work but I'm not gonna write us off yet.
Losing Ash has hurt a lot. I just don't think he leaves if we didn't make the Guidolin mistake. I do think we need to see what van der Hoorn can do. I had hope when that yellow card became a red but lost it when Barrow went out.
Quite the back line Bradley has going today. Kingsley/Mawson/vdH/Naughton Very curious to see how this as out in a must win game.
I just want to see Montero and Barrow on the field at the same time. That would open up so much space in the middle for Borja and Gylfi. I guess Jeff has some leg injury though.
Hamstring injury sadly. Their pace would certainly make it easier to get better passing into the box because we aren't the team that's going to score many goals on cross after cross.
Better play today. I liked the little extra bit from Llorente at the end. A little unlucky not to get 3 points but that 1 point at least is vital.
Super unlucky. However for once I finally feel we played well. Not great but good and I see improvements. That's a start at least.
We suck and at this point idk if I can even blame the manager. When your best player says the players are happy with and shocked at how much knowledge Bradley brings to training and the players need to play better, I tend to go with that.
Traveling and had to watch while driving. I about wrecked a few times and had multiple heart attacks. What a fucking match.
If this is the game that gets Fernando going, I will be even more happy. Fernandez did a great job getting to that last ball in to get the assist too. I still hate Fer
Montero and Barrow starting together today. No true striker again as Gylfi starts up front. Fulton still there in a defensive midfielder role.
The nice thing about Bradley being the boss is that our games all seem to be on the regular channels instead of extra time. As for the game itself, really nothing from play but some good chances from set pieces. If we can get a few more, I think one ends up in the back of the net. Gylfi is really the only guy playing like a top talent.
Montero to Llorente was just beautiful. We need more of that going forward. Also, midfield play has been so much better today without Fer in there.
Today's one of those pesky must wins. Very similar line up but Routledge and Barrow starting on wings with Montero back on the bench. Not sure what happened with Naughton but guess Rangel is outperforming him in training.
Naughton is faster but Rangel is smarter and tougher. Rangel's crosses tend to be pretty weak though.
