Taylor lost his spot to Ben Davies due to injury and didn't get it back until he was sold. I guess there's always been a feeling we could do better there. We'll see. Hopefully we can make some deep cup runs that make sure we have enough information to field the best team possible. I just hope we don't have any significant injury time missed at the striker or center back positions.
Oh wow I didn't see that Taylor was left out completely. I too would be curious about what that pace on the outside could do together.
Fer and Llorente have been a bit wild with their passing today. We have a guy on the bench that is a good passer.
Couldnt be more frustrated. Set piece defending did us in again. So many opportunities with no creativity on the end just poor shots not even near target. First half was good, solid play, good passing and really had an upper hand. Second half was just extremely poor. At least Hull is going to win the the league.
Going old school today and gonna listen to the cup match on radio. BBC Wales Sport if anyone is interested
Agreed I like the all white look but I think I like the black shorts and socks more. Hope we see more of that than just the cups.
I think it's because the shirt has so little black on it this year that the shorts being black feels like it's completing the outfit.
Guidolin just took Oli out for Llorente. Only reason I can think of is so he can try and get the first goal in a Swans shirt and gain confidence.
Drew Man City at home for round 3 of the league cup. Excited since it might actually make TV coverage but dreading the round 3 exit.
Still no Borja this weekend. Taylor won't be there either as he asked to play with the U-23s to get back in shape. No Ollie either as Guidolin doesn't think he's ready.
I dont think OMcB is ready to start but surprised he can't keep the bench when we dont have a second striker. Borja has been a cock tease, I'm so ready for him to get on the pitch.
Same 11 as match week 1 but OMcB did make the bench this week so I'm curious to see if he gets an opportunity to come on.
Apparently Huw was trying to sign a midfielder. There's recognition there that the midfield play has been unacceptable. We still have 4 GKs on the roster though. Have to assume on them is gone today. Tabanou still wants to play here apparently, but it's hard to see him still being a member of this team at the end of the day.
I have no idea how this is going to work, but it's obviously an attempt to get better control through the midfield. Naughton and Taylor are going to have to push forward quite a bit because Ki and Fer aren't going to be great out wide
Neil is pissed getting pulled. I like Kingsley and his potential but I'm not sure I think he is a better player than Neil Taylor at this point.
