Nah. I went around 9 and it was a good sized crowd, but we waited like 5 mins to get a spot not long enough to get a drink.
Ok. Went out in Edgewood last night. It was fine if you like pitch black lights and the inability to move bc ALL of the bars are college bar crowded. Had fun, but failing to see how it's any different or better than Buckhead. Maybe if you like moving around less, waiting in lines, and hiding your drunken ugliness it's better. I'll go back, but that shit is seriously no different outside of the absurd crowds and lines in Edgewood.
Was there too. Ended up suite hopping after the 1st Q. Only good thing about preseason, poor folk with easy suite access
When you keep looking outward calling it a problem but the only constant is yourself.... Gotta take some self responsiblity in your life, gin buckhead. We're all here for support. We're hoping for the best for you and hope you make it out of buckhead alive with your soul.

I liked it (lines and bars overly crowded aside)... That's not my point. My point is that it's no different really. All of the places are fun to me. I just don't really get the relative Buckhead hate after going out out in Edgewood for the first time.
I was kind of thinking this while I was walking around Pike Place Market. Rents are so expensive, you can't have some casual style places or low key spots. Everything is gonna be expensive as fuck. Similar to Krog....Shit there is great but a $14 gyro is kinda absurd. I like it, but they'll essentially be over commercialized boutique shit vs organically grown businesses. Double edge sword really.
My teacher sent this out since we're doing a project for the beltline. A friend of hers posted it on fb. People like this suck.
So this b-hole doesn't live in Atlanta and they're surprised that it's changed significantly in eight years? Also, it's Kale Me Crazy, you stupid bitch.
Reminds me of an episode of 30 Rock where Carrie Fisher is some cat-lady, hipster loon who lives in Little Chechnya. Liz is alarmed when a strung-out man brandishing a gun walks by and Fisher says, "Oh, don't worry. He's not a cop."
Laughed audibly while laying on my couch cuddling with my dog and looking out my window at the beltline. Yea I'm not bothered by this area.
Yea Holeman and Finch is still top 3-5 in Atlanta for. Linton Hopkins kills it. Esp Buckhead. If anyone says otherwise theyve got no clue.
New crosswalk on 10th by the park is now live. What an unbelievably fucking stupid idea. The thing was flashing red constantly all morning and backed up traffic all the way back to Monroe. Not a pedestrian in sight. That stretch of road needed some work, but their "solutions" have been absolutely awful.
Misc shit... all of it worthless... -Beltline officials will start giving incentives to large developments along the Beltline that meet certain criteria... I didn't pick up exactly what that was. -Mayor wants to develop a strategy to go on a big land purchasing spree to get more parks in the City. I wonder how they intend on maintaining the ones that they have? -Below are the streetcar ridership figures for the period of August 3-16... Anyone know any non Ivy'ers looking for a place in the highlands? I've got an extra bedroom opening up in my house.
Anybody have UVerse? We've finally had enough of Comcast and are looking to switch. Mainly concerned about internet speeds as we have 4 of us that like to consume a lot of internet in the evenings.
ATT internet blows my parents have Uverse in buckhead and its solid enough for TV, but not internet. Supposedly theyre installing fiber lines?
dont fucking do it. they throttle speeds at peak hours like nothing I've ever witnessed. I switched to comcast when I moved to Decatur.
Fuck. Comcast just jacked our rate up to almost twice what it was when we signed up and are requiring another 2 year agreement to bring it back down. Since we're renting and planning on moving out at the end of the year, that's not gonna work. Fuck these companies.
I should know in the next few days. Tomorrow I should know about the job I told you about and that would possibly move me.
PCM is donating the first $1 of every session started on the parking app they're using to the Beltline. Really fucking awesome.
this new 'student' apartment building in midtown called University House has this ridiculous pool setup with a large flat screen tv on like ESPN all the time Cant ever take a good picture of but its ridiculous. This rendering from their website is basically what it looks like.
