Looking for some help - Im sure of you have beats. I won a pair of beats studio at a golf outing over the summer, and never use them. Im going to during Thanksgiving travels. Long story short - Im having a hard time getting them to be discoverable via blutooth. Do they make a version of Beats STudio that aren't wireless? Everything Ive been able to seems to say they are. Halp!
I'm confused, there are studio, studio 2.0, and studio wireless. Not sure what is currently on the market.
Alright, I think I have the regular studio which doesn't have blu tooth. Every Time I did a search for studio - it always showed wireless. I assumed they were all blutooth. Im headphone retarded. Thanks
So I decided on impulse to finally get some Bluetooth headphones. I figured they had some place in my collection. I was in the Apple Store and picked up the Bose quietcomfort 35s. Again, not as good fidelity wise as my high end cans, but the noise cancelling is a mind fuck and they are super comfortable. They still sound damn good all things considered to my old ruined ears. Definitely nice to have and great for airplane flights.
These are great workout headphones. IMO they are better if you workout outdoors since they are open and allow you to be aware of your surroundings. I loved mine but I just got the powerbeat3s
Got a set of over the ear headphones I really like, but they have a removable headphone cord and are not bluetooth. Anyone have experience replacing the cord with a bluetooth receiver? If so, how did it turn out? I'm no audiophile by any means, I just don't want to end up having shit audio quality
Seems illogical to spend over $100 just to get some decent bluetooth headphones when I could add bluetooth to my current headphones for a fraction of the price.
Sound quality will go to shit with an add-on bluetooth receiver. If you don't care, there are tons of really cheap receivers.
I really depends on what would be worth it to you. They are really easy to pair with multiple devices. They have a slightly better sound. I don't know if they are $110 better. They have the new w1 chip in them but right now I can't remember why that was so great. I needed a new pair so I just got the latest since I read there was some that were having issues pairing the new Apple Watch with older beats.
It would seem that way if it was as simple as adding on a bluetooth receiver to a pair of existing headphones not engineered for that capability, but it is not. They have to be designed for bluetooth so that the sound quality can be converted properly and cleanly for the best possible sound quality. Honestly, even if you spent a lot of money on the best bluetooth headphones available they would still not sound as good as a pair of wired headphones. I can't even imagine how bad it would sound if you tried to modify a pair yourself unless you are secretly an engineer that works for Sennheiser and haven't told us.
Makes sense. I've got a set of Bluetooth earbuds I use for when I am working out and they sound good enough, but I wouldn't want to use them for anything else because I generally dislike earbuds. All the over ear ones I've seen that I like cost a whole lot more.
Don't know how I didn't see these earlier, must have been because I did a search instead of browsing through categories. $50 and it can be wired or bluetooth. 4.3 average rating with over 800 reviews on Amazon. 86% of the ratings are either 5 or 4 stars
Well what are you wanting out of these headphones exactly? On ear, over the ear, in ear? Closed back, open back? Need to be wireless? Need great sound quality or just good enough? Budget?
I don't know why particularly, maybe people just aren't picky as long as they are comfortable and don't break but, a pair of mediocre headphones can have the same star average as the best in class.
I'm not looking for best in class by any means. As long as it doesn't sound like complete shit to a casual music listener and has no lag when watching video then it's good enough for me. Got any recommendations? The cheaper the better as I'm sure you could figure out.
Well turns out I spoiled my brother and parent's plans for my Christmas present with the TV I bought so they are going to foot the bill and give that to me for Christmas so I'm in the market for a more premium bluetooth over ear headphone now. Up to $100, I'm not going to get crazy by any means, still just headphones.
I think the people who buy the better headphones are probably more discerning and specific in what they want out of them and therefore more critical if they fall short.
Anyone have the Jaybird X3s yet? They just came out. Should have mine on Monday and will review then.
Found a pair of Aukey bluetooth + wired headphones for $20 as a black friday deal on Amazon. On ear instead of over, but it looked comfortable enough and Aukey makes good stuff so had to pull the trigger.
For bluetooth? Sadly I don't as I prefer to use the old wired technology due to it sounding better. However, a site i respect comes up with these two cheaper options.
I need some earbuds for the gym. Prefer wireless but wired would be ok. I'm not looking to break the bank for these since the only time I would wear them would be a the gym or running. I had some of the Beats ones forever and the fuckers stopped charging now.
On or over ear, either work for me. Close back, The ability to go wireless would help. Just good enough. Anywhere between $50-125 range. Cyber Monday deals preferable Thanks for any help. For some reason the headphone buying process is entirely overwhelming
Any mid-tier ear buds deals? My Bose QC20s were lost this past year and I'd love to get something comparable.
Hot garbage. They put the left and right channels in one side and nothing in the other. I just took them straight into Best Buy and processed an exchange. Should have a replacement pair in 2 weeks. Ugh.
Were yours defective and getting a replacement of the same kind or are you getting a different type because they all suck?
Got these in the mail today. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch of the imagination but there was no lag when I watched a YouTube video on my computer and the audio seemed good and clear.
I've honestly seen nothing but glowing reviews of them so I'm giving them a second chance. Ordered an identical pair and hoping for the best.
Yeah me too. That's why I asked. I almost bought those but got the because that is what I've had in the past.
Too lazy to looks through this thread, what are the best bluetooth over the ear headphones I can get with noise cancellation? I'd also like to use them for conference calls. Looking to top out at 300 but would do 400 if its that bonertastic.
tried out quite a few and the bose qc35 seemed to be the best for what I was looking for. Weird, never thought I'd buy bose headphones
Yeah I've tried quite a few, the only recommended ones I haven't tried were the vmodas but their design is a bit aggressive for me. I tried both top tier sonys as well, the 1000 model they have is nice but they are $400 and not as comfortable as the qc35 for long term wear
