jesus christ freak. between this and the "you obviously didn't play big boy football" post the famb is having a tough day today
I was kidding. On another note, is Swim Cantore alive? A thunderstorm delivers a bunch of free water and knocks the temp down 10 degrees yesterday afternoon and not one peep?
fucking barely wet the road where i live. but more rain chances today/tmrw/fri. weekend less chance and warmer. in the middle of july and above our yearly and monthly average. grass is luscious but all it takes is 1 week of 99 degree weather and no rain to fuck everything up
Came home to a downed line sitting in a puddle. Freaked me out, but it turned out to be a telephone line not power. I didn't even know it was supposed to rain yesterday. This is all your fault Swim Cantore
Drove past street light that had been hit by lightning on Ventura in Homewood. I could've been killed had I been driving by there 15 minutes earlier. Thanks for the warning Swim Cantore
The airport/Crestwood cab thing is for real. People are on our NextDoor site all the time complaining about it. Also, some people were on there Sunday complaining about the noise at SlossFest. I was like, 'Seriously? You'd rather us remain a terrible backwater and this neighborhood die than have one sleepless night a year?' WTF
There is a gofundme to hire a lobbyist to lobby bham city council for uber http://www.gofundme.com/bhamridesharing
My shoes are soaked. A gentleman who was walking to the deck next to me had his umbrella explode... As in collapse upward and the fabric ripped off. I'll take the free water though.
https://www.facebook.com/bhamridesharingnow?fref=ts holy shit hopefully this is in the beginning stages of "happening" 3000 likes already in a day! fuck yea
Which side of the fence did they wreck on? Or did you/the photographer just omit the hole in the fence?
Guess swim is too busy propositioning women on Facebook about taking pics of their children to let us now about umbrella weather.
The back side of the airport? You've got to be driving like 80 on that road (or texting and driving) to make that happen.
Went to Saturn last night. Pretty cool venue with a nice layout. Somewhat related, Birmingham has been taken over by hipsters and I don't even know where they all came from.
El Barrio is pretty good. But a bit overpriced IMO. I'm really just annoyed they make you pay for salsa. As good as theirs is, complimentary salsa is put on the table with your complimentary glass of water at 99.99% of Mexican restaurants.
I eat El Barrio at least once a week. Sometimes twice if we go to brunch on Saturday. It's my favorite
Had the chicken tacos. They were really good but it's a pretty small portion of chicken. Especially when compared to how massive the sides are.
Maybe. I just don't jump right into a meatloaf dish when I try a new Mexican restaurant though. I go tacos and then work my way out from there.
That's the way I feel about their beef barbacoa quesadilla. Meatloaf is great as well. Cuban Madame during brunch is amazing.
