PeterGriffin PC is getting bought by the Miami Ad School. The founder of that is the divorced husband of the head of our school. He slept with a student. I don't know what it really means but I think we're keeping our name. Meeting Monday so hopefully they explain more of what is going to happen.
I don't know if I posted this already, but I'll go ahead and do it. Every Thursday my school has a seminar, basically a random speaker. Sometimes we get boring shit, but every once in a while we get an awesome talk. We had one of the lead architects for the Beltline come in a couple weeks ago. It was amazing to see what the final plans are, but I wish he was more knowledgable about the political side of things. I asked about P3 partnerships and how it would affect their plans time wise and he admitted to having no idea. Pretty useless post, but it showed how big the Beltline has been so far for Atlanta and the impact it's had. It's only going to get better.
Ya they parked at the new Katana place by Houston's and broke into 2 trucks in my work parking lot. My rental car, a 2015 Tahoe, was the only car between the two trucks broken into and was 2 spots from one of them. Thankfully they skipped my car. They stole a firearm out of one of the trucks. Me and my coworker gave the description of the van they were drove away in. You're welcome Atlanta. And now apparently a plane crashed near PDK.
Shaky Knees? I know once I get home today, my car won't be leaving its spot on the street until Sunday evening.
I was about 4 miles from where it happened when it happened headed directly towards it. They made me turn around on 285 going in the wrong direction and go back to 85.

Anyone been to Le Fat in West Midtown? Have reservations there in an hour. Heard it was pretty good. Having a beer at 6 Feet Under now.
No buckhead for Gin Buckhead? Republic Cypress St El Myriachi Corner Tavern's new Roof top Deck in L5P Bartaco Leon's, No 246 Victory Midway
Thought the shaky knees set up was pretty good. The strokes were awesome. Ate fox brothers. Great day one.
Random, what are they going to do with Turner Field now? There's a rental I just saw near it and I can't figure out if that's 1) a shitty area, or 2) if traffic will still be affected somehow by it.
Hasn't been decided yet what they will do but possible green space / parks for the surrounding neighborhoods. But either way I'd avoid the area. Traffic would suck if you had to go north on the interstate for work in the morning. The downtown connector is always jammed up every day no matter what so that alone would rule that area out unless you were working very close by. Also if they fuck up the redevelopment that area will go to shit real fast.
Georgia State will be purchasing, developing, and taking over the area. I'm looking to buy there next winter. We need to organize a Beltline and Atlanta bus tour for the thread. Gonna drop gin buckhead off in Lakewood.
Took my parents to Rathbun's tonight. But only because my girlfriend fucked up the reservation that was supposed to be Rathbun Steak
No, I remembered her gender 20 minutes before the reservation, double checked, and luckily avoided the embarrassment.
She already knows them. My birthday was Monday so I wanted to get the best free meal possible. Rathbun's was still ballin', just not Kevin Rathbun Steak ballin'
heading down there for a weekend later this month what's good and new out there? def doing a beltline day
Just start at the park and bar crawl your way down to Superica for dinner. Hit two urban licks, Victory, Parish and Ladybird on your way. Now that I think about it, I should for sure organize something like that and make money off of it.
Rode bikes to Ladybird, then to Church since LB lost power, then back to LB then to corner tavern. Solid day of Day Drinking. Tire blew out on McLendon going home. Sucked
