Sorry bros, still not positive it will end up happening. It is silly season after all. I may be a bit biased but if he does indeed move on this summer I think we would be a really good landing spot for him.
I'd rather loose him to Spurs than Liverpool. Where does he factor in at Tottenham? Would he likely start or play more like he did for us as a super sub? Being a teenager starting at a big club like Spurs has to put him on track to be a possible superstar. Between Sess and Cairney, TC is much more vital to keep next year but I'm preparing myself to lose both. Add Johannson to that and It would be full on depression.
I can't see him being a starter next season for us, unless we sold some players ahead of him this summer. There has been chatter about Rose leaving but I don't see it happening. I guess the amount of game time would come down to whether or not we see him as a wing back/full back or an out and out winger. He could see more game time further up the pitch. I wouldn't be opposed to us loaning him back to Fulham for a season if Poch doesn't think he immediately is going to slot into the team. All of that assumes he actually ends up here, which nobody is too sure of yet.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...-sessegnon-snubs-liverpool-tottenham-10702842 Ryan Sessegnon snubs Liverpool and Tottenham to sign new deal at Fulham Fulham wonderkid Ryan Sessegnon has snubbed big-money Premier League offers to sign a new deal at Craven Cottage. Hot prospect Sessegnon, 17, has agreed a three year deal to stay at Fulham which is a major boost for the Championship club. Tottenham were leading a clutch of top clubs chasing left back Sessegnon who has been compared to Gareth Bale at the same age. Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City had also come in for Sessegnon who is regarded as one of England’s most promising talents. Every top club was tracking Sessegnon last season and Spurs looked to be in pole position but the teenage has decided to stay put. Sessegnon wants to play regularly, is very happy at Fulham and is hoping to help their push to get into the Premier League next season. Sessegnon has also been called into England’s under-19s squad for the forthcoming European Championships in Georgia next month. His twin brother Steven, also a defender, has also agreed an improved new three year deal to stay at Fulham.
Parker also called it a career today. Just need to keep Cairney around and we'll be looking good for next year. Although the fact that the team is training in London and Cairney is on vacation in Greece (Instagram creeping) doesn't look great. Hopefully he's just getting a little more time off since he spent part of the break with the Scotland team.
It is the best choice for him right now, not going to lie. Play another season with you guys, hopefully getting you into the PL. He will play almost every match, which wouldn't have happened had he moved this summer. It will help you guys in recouping a nice fee if/when he does move on down the road, win win for the player and club IMO.
It definitely makes sense and is the best move for him to develop, I just had no hope that it would actually happen. Too many players now just chase the idea of playing for a big club and getting that big transfer too early.
http://m.bbc.com/sport/football/40479950 Hell yeah. guess that means we aren't selling him. Sign a quality striker or two and its a perfect offseason.
So Fulham is one of like 7 teams from league 2, 1, and championship to not sign up for ifollow and say they will not but will provide something "similar" directly through fulhamtv. I'm going to be so pissed if they don't show live games and only replays and highlights like they did last year while pretty much every other team gets live streams.
Watching Dempsey tonight made me wish for the squad that had Dempsey and Dembele and Ruiz, Hangeland, Schwartzer, Murphy, Sidwell, etc.
2 days away! Team is so thin if we get injured at all, but the likely starting 11 looks like it would be super athletic. I'm hoping for something like: --------------Betts-------------- Fredericks-----Kalas-----Ream------Sess Kebano----Macdonald----Cairney----Ayite ---------------Johansson------------ --------------Kamara------------------ I don't think Kamara will start though. And Johansson probably drops back to MF with maybe Kebano, Piazon, or Aluko up top.
posting some pics over the summer I took of Craven Cottage awesome location + neighborhood. Should be a big yr for FFC.
http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2017/august/04/fulhamfctv-update Great news. Fulham FC TV launches live matches for overseas fans. 120 pounds for the entire year for any games not televised (which I assume would be shown on espn3). I'll be signing up for sure. Tomorrows match on espn3.
I read on the twitter machine that some EFL games would be on ESPN3. Any confirmation from the dedicated and knowledgeable FFC contingent on this?
Well we continue last season's trend of snapping a draw out of the mouth of victory in the waning minutes
Y'all sat back too deep too early on. Norwich haven't been bad enough to to get away with that. And fortunate to not have a handball called. A fair point I think but an entertaining match nonetheless.
Sucks. Oh well. its a long season and team looked very good at times. As far as watching games, a decent amount of games should be covered on espn3 like today, and you can download the app if you have a ps4 (or I assume xbox?) to actually watch on your TV. All other games you can get by signing up for fulham tv which will only be computer streaming but still a huge step up from last year.
As of today, you can officially sign up for the season pass for live streaming on Fulham TV. 120 pounds so about $150. Hopefully the quality is good because I just bought the pass.
That was a horse shit call. Definitely a foul, should have been yellow. No way you change the game that early with a red.
To get a point like that at Reading down a man for 90+ minutes and without arguably our best player (Cairney) is remarkable. After this performance and what we showed in the first half against Norwich last week, I look forward to watching this team when everything clicks.
Very difficult start w 4 of the top teams from last year in the first 4 games. 5-6 points and I think we are in a very good position for rest of the year. Remember we were out of the playoffs spots by like ten points around december last year before going on a run.
Leeds player came in hard and after Piazon tried to stand up immediately went down and called for a sub. Had to be carried off field. I saw some guy on facebook comment broken fibula but have no idea if thats accurate or not. It sure didn't look good. With Cairney, Kalas, Ayite, and now possibly Piazon out we are so thin, fucking Khan needs to start buying some damn players.
Amazing prospect. Pace and and very strong. Game needs polishing but was a stand out in the u21s for us.
Been rumored for a bit, but finally confirmed signing of Fonte. Fee is supposedly around 8 million. At the same time Woodrow goes out on loan again, so upgrade in talent but still thin on depth up top. http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2017/august/17/fonte-joins
I don't agree with loaning Woodrow out. I understand he needs as much playing time as possible and he'll get more at Bristol than he can with us, but he's a useful piece and if he keeps progressing we're not going to have him that much longer anyway.
I was really high on him 3 years ago when he had that two goal game early in the season, but something has to be up for him to just not get the time despite us being so thin as forward. Reports were he looked good at Burton last year. Something tells me he just doesn't stack up in Tony Khans stupid sabermetrics obsession. Daddy's boy thinking he knows more than people like Slav who actually played the game.
Nice finish by Fonte to get his first. Up 2-0. Have absolutely dominated the game, could have had at least a couple more.
