Playing bot matches with other bad people today. I like Clinkz because he's very survivable, but kinda hard for me to finish kills with him.
Reason bombed out of the Group stage, finishing second to last and winning just one game. The equivalent of Team Secret at TI5. Ascent too struggled a bit but played competitively. And because of both of their struggles, they matched up against each other in just round 2 of the upper bracket. Reason just knocked Ascent to the lower bracket and play Froyotech in a Bo3 upper bracket game in nine hours.
Clinkz is great, but the caution that I'll offer you is in using stealth heroes. Positioning is very important in Dota, and I still struggle with it after playing this game for a year. You don't have to focus as much in it with stealth heroes and your mistakes are masked by players in low skill brackets not buying vision.
More halp Other simple ranged characters for me to try out? (guys that preferably don't have more than 3 active moves) Sniper is fun and I did relatively well with it (compared to other ones) but as Brick said, positioning seems to be at even more of a premium with him with his super low health.
start playing spirit breaker a good bit he's so much fucking fun pre-lvl 6 just build this: Q-E-W-Q-E-R start out with 2 str gauntlets, tangos, and shield rush healing drum then brown boots, then get treads then build shadow blade and enjoy killing everyone. after you get sblade, assuming you started strong, build bkb (if enemy team allows for it) or AC, or maybe even go offensive with armlet(tho i wouldn't bother with this til you learn how to toggle)

I'm going to link the VOD when it's available (and not just part of a giant stream) for the Froyotech - nerdRage upper bracket final Bo3. I slept through it but I understand that it was incredible. Just about everyone says it's the best TF2 ever seen. So, you know, there's a bit of hype around it. nerdRage beat Froyotech 2-1.
Reason takes map 2 by a score of 3-2 when Ascent failed their final push on the point and ran out of time One more map. Winner advances to the lower bracket final to be played tomorrow. Loser is out in 4th place.
