Anyone playing uncharted 4? I downloaded it last week but have hardly had time to play it. I'm excited to finally be able to play these next few days. It's one of my all time favorite franchises.
Haven't yet because I have been sitting on the remastered collection and just finished up 2 and started 3. Have 2 buddies playing, one just started and the other started Tuesday and doesn't have a job so assuming he's far into it and they both are raving about it
It's fantastic, really well done in all facets. I am on Chapter 9 right now, trying to take my time with it.
So glad they came out with the remastered edition. I just gave those a quick run through a couple months ago.
I got it at Christmas but didn't play it for a couple months and have taken my time with the first 2. Will probably try to get through 3 much quicker with 4 sitting there
with e3 just a few weeks away what are you guys hoping to see? i'd love to see another (better) ps all stars and possibly a cart racing game (mod nation > lbp) something on the future of the tlou universe would be neat whatever insomniac is doing next i imagine we'll see a lot of vr shit would like to see shit on new IPs announced last year such as hellblade, horizon, and wild is deep down dead? maybe some god of war. i'm trying to think of other established sony franchises outside of gran turismo that are due for a new game but i'm drawing a blank things i don't want to see: anything about a game that's coming out before september
What I'd like to see -Red Dead Redemption 2 announced with a teaser trailer (shut up and take my money!) -Horizon: Zero Dawn with a 2016 release date -God of War 4 announcement -Game-play footage of Mass Effect: Andromeda -Rise of the Tomb Raider announcement for PS4 (fuck you microsoft) As you can see, my list is entirely single player. I think most of will agree that the hardcore multiplayer life is starting to wane.
i disagree but that's why there are many types of games. i would probably stop gaming entirely if multiplayer ceased to exist.
I didn't mean as a whole, just the gamers around TMB. That bloodlust we had when MW & MW2 came out is no longer the same.
I'm sort of mehh about e3. Its actually a little depressing because all the games I've been really anticipating for this generation have already come out Uncharted 4 MGSV Witcher 3 Arkham Knight Dark Souls 3/Bloodborne Fallout 4 Sure there are games I want but none that are getting me as excited. I guess the closest thing would be Mass Effect Andromeda if its done correctly or a Red Dead/Last of us sequel announcement. But as it stands none of the games are making me wish oh man i wish X month would get here already so i could play that. It's more of a mehh I'll play that when it comes out.
- TLoU 2 announcement (please oh please oh please) - I would love to see a PS All Stars too, one that captures the feeling of Powerstone and the original Smash Brothers (always been my favorites). - Release date for Horizon Zero Dawn, maybe some more plot details - Would like to see some details on the Star Wars game that Amy Hennig is working on with Stig Asmussen. - Anything from Ken Levine (not happening, I know) - Details on Kojima's new game - Something new from Quantic Dream?
I don't think hearing from Ken Levine would be crazy. This gen eats dicks and now it's looking like we're about to get force fed vr. I expect E3 to be all about eating dicks in vr
Here is a fun stress relief game that just came out, for 20 bucks it is a bit steep to pay, but it is fucking fun to break shit.
I was bored a couple weeks back and decided to browse the PS Store for interesting cheap games. That's how I found legendary Tokyo Jungle in the past. Anyway, I came across a free game called Four Kings Casino and Slots. It's a game where you create a character and your character is inside a casino. There is no leaving the building. There is no doing anything but gambling, going to the dance club (where you can choose between 4 different "dances"), and buying things in the store. They have poker, video poker, blackjack, video blackjack, craps, slots, bingo, keno, war, and several other games that I don't even remember. There is no way to cash out for any IRL benefits or funds. And there are tons of people on it. Most of which it's fairly obvious they play a lot (seeing as they've got all sorts of fancy clothing, jewelry, and other accessories for their characters). Anyway, I've found myself fucking around with it when I'm sitting in front of my TV for a few minutes. I can already feel the current that has drawn so many others in. If it's a few months from now and I'm begging people in this thread to download the game and play with me, hold an intervention and read me this post. Thanks in advance.
The Uncharted bundle is your best bet right now. Especially if you played the previous 3 games. Although if you didn't, there is the Nathan Drake collection which has the first 3 games remastered, which you can probably pick up for about $40 now. We had a very active Destiny thread with really consistent players up until about a month or 2 ago. It's not really a game I would recommend without having other people to play with. That said, a new expansion is expected in the fall, which will probably bring us all back for a month or so. Long story short, yeah, Destiny is dead for the moment. But we had a good year and a half run, right, guys?
TTK was great. And if they release something similar in the fall, I am sure I will purchase it. But I can't in good conscience recommend Destiny to someone just starting out on PS4. There is just so much more available to people that have a fireteam, or at least, a couple of people to play with. And at TMB, we don't
Horizon: Zero Dawn delayed until February 28th, 2017 https://www.google.com/amp/www.forb...zing-except-for-one-thing/amp/?client=safari# Side note, new trailer
Elaborate. Too slow how? Overall gameplay? Because it is definitely slower than any Call of Duty game or anything of that variety. It is not a run-and-gun shooter. It is a lot more tactical and strategic. It's a lot more like a SOCOM game than a COD game. I'd relate it to the other Rainbow Six or Tom Clancy games I've played but I think it's the only one.
Those are fair statements. As I said earlier, it's a very different game than COD-type run-and-gun shooters. One Ranked match can last over 40 minutes if you go into overtime. Even a fairly quick Ranked match will take about 20. As for the time to kill you mentioned, I like that because it's accurate. You don't have to get hit with ten rounds in your center mass to go down. To each their own though. If anyone else on here plays it then holler.
I have to play my PS4 while my PC recovers from its GPU exploding come play gta with me so i dont have to depend on retards to do heists.
I was busy trying to decide who was worse between David, Dabut, and you. I apologize for being decent despite my connection.
Sweet Raptor Jesus, the Sony press conference was amazing. Spider Man game made by Insomniac? New Kojima game? New God of War? New post-apocalyptic game made by Bend? Crash Bandicoot Remastered? Yes Please, I'll take all of those in a one hour show. Do yourself a favor and watch it on Youtube, absolutely incredible. EDIT - Whoops, completely forgot Resident Evil 7 was announced, will be playable in VR and regular, looks very much back in the style of what made it successful back in the day (hopefully minus the shit controls that was a hallmark of the early years) On a separate note, who's planning on getting VR?
you guys think it's foolish to hope god of war is open world? that last shot made me think open world.
Really, really strong conference. Although where do we put that weird, fucked up Kojima game being released? Over/under 2021.
