look at those eyes, like a cold-blooded assassin the creation of this thread salvaged what was otherwise a fucking miserable day
Sure am. Just moved back and am residing in the lovely blocks sandwiched between campus and Frenchtown.
So we finished 2nd today (congrats to the Gunners). Rory just needs to get back to practice throwing at 5 6'4"+ guys in the box.
I'm down... aren't many places to watch that are open then... except the golf course... which isn't the worst spot.
After last year, with 4-5 iffy PK calls against us... I feel no shame in taking one today. Up to 4th in the Table!
So... I really hope this Europa thing pays off with a long run... because it's killing us in the EPL. We aren't deep enough to handle the League, 2 domestic tourneys, and an international one. I hope we lose our Carling match.
Thanks... it was a weak call. I'm glad it was against Crawley instead of a real team. We need all hands on deck for Pool.
We started 3 CBs, 3CDMs, Delap, and 3 Strikers today against Valencia... and oh yeah... we only brought 4 subs to Spain... and of course 1 is a Keeper. Pulis is crazy like a fox.
To be fair, Swansea wins the possession battle against almost everyone. Their movement is beautiful. They just weren't ready for the brutality of Pulis-ball.
I'll take a W any day... But I think 24 is our new low. That aside, I hope Swansea keeps it up and avoids the drop... I like having them around.
They'd have to fuck up in grand fashion to drop at this point. Believe they're 11 over the drop zone right now with 12 fixtures to go.
I really don't see why we spent so much on Crouch. In our system, the ST will never look good and/or flashy. We just need to build the wings and midfield... don't waste money on a tall target.
At least we get to play a supporting role in both the top of the table and the relegation zone... sitting pretty between 8-12.
