Couldn't figure that one out eighter. Good, but so different that any thing I've drank. Don't think I loved what the wine barrel did to it.
Same, it's a strong ale with some sour from the wine barrels. Definitely very complex and haven't had anything like it. On another note I wanted to go to BA bottle share down the street from me, but those geniuses scheduled it for Mother's Day.
Yep, so many people I know keep comparing other Gose's to Westbrook; and while I agree on how great Westbrook's is, they're uncomparable to the traditional Gose. Felt the same way - I knew it wasn't as sour or salty but still didn't love it at first sip. As I kept drinking it grew on me. Could definitely crush a whole bunch of them on a hot summer day.
Proud to announce Baby Cowbell expected early November 2015...which happened this weekend by calculations. :orangeswimmers:
at least someone scored that night. fucking Syracuse... Spoiler yes, i'll be young Spaulding Tanner Cowbell's godfather
Listen, I know all about bringing someone to that building and feeding them beers, but at least you got lucky afterward. Spaulding is so selfish... Congratulations my friend, excited for you guys
I can't remember for sure who in here is in the Houston area that gave me advice in the past, Old_Gregg maybe? Have you ever been to the Woodlands Craft Beer Festival? I'm coming down there the last weekend in June for Garth Brooks and saw that's going on that same weekend, wondering if it's worth the drive up from Katy
People have negative outcomes after attending his concerts. And how could a picture of beer flummox you?
I assumed you were going for a specific reference I was missing. I didn't have any issues when I went to his show in Tulsa, haven't heard about that
i hear you. here in NC they market themselves as from "Brevard, NC" no mention of colorado also i've never seen an imperial stout. they seem to only sell 3 types: Dale's Pale Ale, Mamas Yella Pils, and Old Chub Scotch Ale
i love beer but i always stayed away from the craft beer culture. i've always been put off by beer snobbery.
