TMB Divorce Thread

I'd like to share a story about the last hour of my life. I'm having trouble comprehending the randomness of it.

I left work to grab a sandwich at a non-standard lunch time for me.

I get sandwich.

I stopped at gas station even though I didn't need gas and I'm sitting there eating and texting a friend.

I see a guy... for some reason he looks familiar. Well he looks similar to the guy my wife is becoming involved with. Nah can't be, I must be losing it.

I check a pic of his on facebook. Yes it does look like him.

30 seconds later, who pulls into gas station? Wife.

I knew she was meeting him today but from what I had investigated I thought she was picking him up at a train station an hour from right now. So I wasn't just driving around snooping around.

 

It's funny how pending divorce brings out the parent of the year in everybody.

 

Would you all have confronted them? Had the urge. But held back. What would it have accomplished? Have a meeting tomorrow which is my future, not confronting her now for no gain.

Nothing. It would have accomplished nothing.

 

100% certain it has/will turn into more than that today. But she was already so far gone whether it was in the past or today doesn't really matter.

 

Friend of mine (female) said it was a sign I was supposed to. I just don't see why or what it would have accomplished. If scenario was different and she wasn't already attached to him so much and detached from me, sure... I can see getting in there maybe doing something to sway her back if that's what I wanted. But I don't even want that any more. I've gone through a few rapid stages over the past week as you can see from my prior posts.

 

It's a long way down the road, but just know that one day you're going to wake up, jump in the shower, do some shit, go get lunch, have some plans for later and you won't think about any of this even once.

 

FUCK YEAH damnit I can't wait till that day comes. A new life.

 

Yea, she's already into this guy. It would just have made you look bad.

 

It provides nothing and potentially gives her ammo against you with the judge depending on how well she spins it/what the guy is willing to say as a witness

 

If you're a fault state, don't even mention it. Get a pi and let him tell the court. Giving her notice that you know just means she's going to put it on hold (not stop) and cover her tracks better next time.

Plus if you would have confronted them, she's going to say you were stalking her or something. Whether you are or not, it's not a good look and an even worse one if she gets some kind of protective order as a result.

If you have a dog, go take the fucker for a walk (best medicine in the world, he/she will let you rant and still wag his/her tail like you are the best thing in the world. If you don't have a dog, go get one. They kick ass and will attract new ladies once the one is gone completely.

Got home as she was leaving with him. she called me from the car. all upbeat like "did i just see you?" and "i was going to introduce you two". because her story has been that he and his friend are building a web site for her that she has wanted for a while. so she's sticking to that stupid story.

i said no i do not have interest in meeting him and said i think he shouldn't be in the house.

she said "oh well we're just going to Panera to finish working on the site"

and that was that.

I think at most she could've been here at home for 10 minutes
