You're going to have a bad time when 40mins into the game your mid lina has bottle, treads, null and octarine. It's going to be an even worse time when he says he doesn't like euls because it feels like a cheat.
Also gonna have a bad time when you have one hard carry and the other team has three. It's fucking lame but I'm about to start picking another hard carry in games at this level. So tired of losing games because my teams have no idea how to push, gank, or just generally punish greedy lineups.

Whats impressive is they picked 20 heroes in that match which was 4 games, so different heroes everytime. Will be interesting to see how they do at TI since they had this same hype before Manila and didn't do very well.
Once again we had to basically get a team wipe to convince anyone to push. Luckily this time it didn't matter because we picked a lineup almost as stupid as theirs.
I'm so torn. I want your enchantress to lose for building a HoT over skadi. I want your PA to lose over ignoring BKB and AC. I want your SS to lose for not building a force staff. I want their Alch to lose for being 450gpm and building the radiance instead of spec build it. I want their spec to lose for going tranquil into vanguard, then building skadi and only 45min into the game considering a damage item in diffusal. Game should have been a draw.
No one knows how to push, can't count how many times we've killed two mid/late and instead of grabbing a tier 2 my team retreats to farm up some more.
Newer builds typically ignore AC for PA, but bkb fo sho. PA is such a dirty hero this patch. The goddamn dagger is so OP. Hero itself is super easy to counter but fuck that dagger early and mid game.
I don't get to carry often but that sounds right. I'd grab the blight stone before buildin vanguard. Battle fury is still very viable, especially if wave clear is going to be needed. It's never a bad item, just not always a good first item.
Guys don't start out with blight stone on PA, start out with OoV. That makes dagger into a skadi on an 8 second CD
She def doesn't need a battle fury because she comes online really quickly with shockingly little farm, but with how pubs always go 20 minutes longer than they should, getting one will almost always be worth it for you and really help you rack up a gold advantage.
It seems like there's no reason not to get a dragon lance on ranged carries right now. The stats alone that it gives you for 1900 gold are ridic.
If you have a slow start, then it's probably worth it to BF and catch back up. But if you get early Vanguard/Deso you just take over the mid game and carry hard. You can just run at enemy heroes with a early Vanguard.
Question for you guys: if you're playing Sven and you have a support on your team that's willing to stack ancients for you, do you still buy a HotD? Or would you just skip it? This is a stupid question, because no one would ever stack ancients for someone else in a pub.
I'd buy the HotD and let my support share controlled units (stack with my dominated creep.) There's not a situation where a support physically stacking ancients is more valuable than having them harassing in lane or stacking the jungle nearby.
Team HotD and forget to micro support until :58, panic and curse at myself. Repeat x forever. Also I have actually never played vanguard/deso PA build and not want to try it.
Yep, pretty much core on every single ranged carry now. Purge says it's the defacto drums substitute.

they were roaming as a pack of 5 while we split them down. they'd get 2-3 kills, and instead of pushing they'd go looking for more kills. sven started afk farming in the jungle/ancients and before they knew it he was unstoppable. they'd jump me in team fights and blow everything. ceg would jump in and call, sven would come in and 3 hit everything
