Oddly enough, that's not always the case, especially if it's a tendonosis. Tendonitis is inflammation of the connective tissue. Tendonosis is improper or only partial healing of the soft tissue. In the case of tendonosis, it's sometimes better to go balls out for one session and try and rip the muscle off the bone and cause maximum damage, then give it a good month or so to heal.

I'm cutting down to 180ish lb (from 200 lb) I dont mind repetitive eating. Bonus points for helping me with a good macro count. Willing to get / spend on anything, not looking for overly complicated recipes, can eat simple things like chicken breasts and egg whites. I've got whey protein of course, a scoop is 20g and 130 cal.
Shoot for a 35%p/40%c/25%f ratio for a month and see how that works. Buy a bunch of chicken, rice, potatoes, lean red meat, turkey, fish, olive oil and mix that shit together any way you want. Buy a lot of hot sauce and low calorie marinades

2 weeks into the GZCL 9-week I like it a lot. Thought it would be weird/tough doing legs and chest pretty much everyday but actually acclimated to it pretty quickly since 2 of the chest days are really light weight

Resort gym isn't half bad. Dumbbells up to 80 lbs. No real barbell stuff except for a smith machine so I just used the DBs and a few of the other machines (cable stuff, hypers, leg curls, etc...). Glad I'm not taking a long full deload before starting back next Tuesday.

high frequency of benching in the GZCL combined with boxing 3 days a week giving me tendinitis in my left arm where tricep connects to elbow. had to cut short bench yesterday and gonna skip it for a couple more days. still got 275 3 x 3 before skipping the rep out set so I can handle taking a break for a few days did someone say that using DB for chest was easier on joints or was that just maybe shoulder specific? wouldn't mind subbing a heavy DB Bench for the Slingshot Bench since I have no intention of getting that slingshot contraption
A weekend full of booze then I start my first strength block of this mesocycle. I definitely overreached on the last volume block so this strength block is very welcome.
