If he does now, he didn't when I posted it. Most surprised by the Barca trio, and PEA was on such a run for awhile I was certain he had more.
great article on eriksen http://www.football365.com/news/christian-eriksen-a-thinker-amongst-the-doers? probably my favorite player on this team
I'd have a hard time picking a top 5 much less a favorite player on this team at the moment. Harry, Dele, Mousa, Hugo, Toby, Christian, etc., etc. It's a great time to be a supporter.
Eriksen, Toby, Kane, Dembele, Alli And it's just unfair to leave out Hugo, Rose, Dier, and Lamela from a top 5 but that's just the place Spurs are in right now. My goodness.
It's so crazy how variable our answers are. We're such a deep team that our entire starting XI is cool with me. I enjoy watching every player except Vorm (as the gap from Hugo to him is just so huge that I assume we're fucked). Excited to see what N'Jie will bring back to the pitch over the last few weeks, if he gets a chance.
I just really love Toby but it's impossible to not have Eriksen at the top. He is one of the craftiest fuckers I've ever seen.
Poch must be such a positive influence in person, nice article on him being the reason Hugo stuck it out after the Sherwood era 2 season ago. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tml?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490
You might as well make it official and climb aboard the Tottenham Express. We can work in some type of release clause if/when Wolves make it back to the PL.
I (insert name here)vow to follow the example set forth by my chosen club, Tottenham Hotspur, and be a top lad in all endeavors. I will insult Arsenal and Chelsea whenever the opportunity should present itself. I will overreact to every in game situation, whether it be positive or negative. I will pray for the best, while deep down expecting the worst. If my path should ever cross with his, I will call Sol Campbell a traitorous cunt. electronic signature
Dele Alli has apparently won the young POTY award, to nobody's surprise. We accidentally leaked the info via our programme for tomorrow.
Lacazette rumors heating back up. Likely just more paper talk but I'd love that move. http://metro.co.uk/2016/04/24/totte...ign-lyon-forward-alexandre-lacazette-5837384/
Nice article with bunch of quotes from Kyle Walker. http://cartilagefreecaptain.sbnatio...ttenham-hotspur-kyle-walker-family-pochettino
He deserved it for sure. If we keep this squad fully intact (which should happen with Champions League), and add a key piece or two we are going to be a damned good side again next season. The young lads are only going to get better, which is so exciting to think about as a fan. The future is bright.
Dele with his award, the lad didn't even take off practice to attend the ceremony. Dedication. We've got a pretty nice tradition with the young POTY, 4 out of 5 is nothing to sneeze at. Walker, Bale, Hazard, Kane, and Alli make up the past 5 seasons. A trademark wave
Good article from sky on the rise to prominence of our Harry. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...er-league-loanee-to-premier-league-top-scorer
One of the issues with these awards is the definition. I love Alli and I think he had a great season and maybe should have been runner up, but if Harry is nominated and eligible I would argue that he is more deserving, albeit he is household name after being the new name last year. I think they got Player of the Year correct as much as it pains me.
I honestly don't think every coach has the ambition of making it to the top of La Liga. The only upside of that over the Prem is the ability to attract the best players in the world. It's then less about your managerial ability and more about who can throw more money at their problem. Poch is at what is hopefully the beginning of a run with a cohesive unit that he is building himself. He's got a metric fuck ton of youth talent coming through and arguably a handful of the best players in England already. This isn't something to abandon when you have the chance to become history.
i think levy finally got it right, and realizes that all he needs to do is keep poch happy and stay the fuck out of the way. in two years, we'll be moved into northumberland, and this unit will be firing on all cylinders. obviously we have bias, but it would be tough to turn down that future just to go to la liga. i don't know, it's not possible for me to be objective on it, so i can at least hope. either way, it doesn't look like zidane or enrique are going anywhere soon.
Not to mention, the job security in La Liga is pretty bad at the top level. God forbid you miss the Copa del Rey and get your ass sacked.
no change. let's go boys. Tottenham Hotspur @SpursOfficial 3m3 minutes ago #THFC team: Lloris (c), Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dembele, Dier; Lamela, Alli, Eriksen; Kane #COYS
