Tottenham, Michigan, and the Eagles all won at the weekend. A midweek collapse was all but guaranteed. In other news, Tom Carroll signed an extension until 2019. Was hoping for a more marquee performer, but whatever.
Sissoko in over Lamela, Son stays in over Eriksen, Rose out still so Vertonghen to LB and Dier to CB. Something like that. SUBS: Vorm, Davies, Trippier, Eriksen, Lamela, Winks, Janssen.
Weird lineup but we need to rotate the squad more especially against bad teams we should beat. Where the hell is Wimmer?
Weird indeed. Should still be enough to take the points. Excited to see what Sissoko can do and to have Dembele back in the side as well. It is a physically imposing side, that is for sure.
A win today would take us 3rd at this early stage of the season, I'm praying we don't make it difficult.
Former spurs players bringing their top ladism to other clubs Capoue excelling at Watford and Andros actually pulled off a cut inside and shot just now.
Just spreading the wealth around. With our top lad conveyor belt it is just impossible to keep all the lads to ourselves.
Son is gaining confidence though, really dribbling and passing well, I just want some better finishing.
So nice to have Dembele back in the team. With him, Sissoko, and Wanyama out there we have a pretty imposing lineup from a physical standpoint.
What a fucking save, jesus that was a nice hit by Lamela. And now Kane has done his ankle, happy fucking day. His tireless work ethic finally did him in.
6 fucking minutes? Welp, looks like Janssen is going to get a chance to prove himself in the next month or so.
If Kane is out for an extended period I might just give Son a shot up front when Janssen isn't in. Hell, I might choose him over Janssen to start.
I don't disagree, I just think he would be a useful option up front if we needed a change of pace. He is lightning quick, something neither of our other strikers bring to the table. He has a great shot on him as well. We will need to rotate the squad coming up here.
I play a two striker system in FIFA, so Kane/Janssen and Son/N'Jie for shitty opponents. Poch and I are tight and he respects how well I do with Spurs in game, so I'll pass your opinions along.
