I would not at all be surprised if this was a fuck up by the university. Someone leaked it and then they were like "oh shit, Senior Day is this weekend...and Jay MacIntrye is a senior...yeah, maybe we should've waited a week." At the same time, I'm sure they don't mind letting someone like Leavitt - who I assume Kansas State will have interest in when Snyder likely retires - know there will be an opening (I would bet $ he is on RG's short list, it just makes too much sense and seems like the type of hire we'd make that'd still be considered solid).
So the AD not going to address the elephant in the room before Mac goes in front of the press in 35 minutes?
I'll die of shock if it happens, but I still found the below (in bold) interesting in SI's write up on Les settling with LSU for a lump sum payment of the remainder of his buyout money (I hadn't heard of him having interest in CU's job prior to this): https://www.si.com/college-football/2018/11/15/les-miles-lsu-buyout-kansas-colorado-coaching-search
It will be interesting to see what type of coach George goes after. I feel like a talented young coordinator is a boom or bust approach (no data to back that, just the lack of HC experience) but the team is going to have a reasonable amount of talent next year and it may make for a soft landing for a first-year coach. Was not really on the Les train but there have been dumber ideas. Next person to suggest Barnett in any capacity needs to take a lap.
Because we keep hiring whiners with bitch tits? On a more serious note, if those comments HCMM made after the game do not get him fired (nevermind the fact that it looks like he's lost the team), I'm really not sure what will. Any respect I had for HCMM is quickly disappearing as he seems set on causing max damage and acting with as little class as possible on his way out. Rick George needs to fire him at some point in the next 24 hrs IMO or risk letting things get even more ugly.
Both are seniors, jennings as well We do return a lot outside of them..of the 2 deep: 14/22 on offense..17/22 on defense
Is there a reason CU and CSU don’t play during rivalry week? Relatively new to the state and currently attending CSU so I just want to know more about the rivalry.
There is no rivalry which is why it’s not played during rivalry week. HTH. Edit: CU has no rivals anymore for many reasons, most of which is the football ineptitude/inconsistentcy over the last 15 years. Edit 2: I guess that means CSU is the only rivalry option we have. I’d still prefer NU every year.
