I don’t know if we’re a top 4 team, but I sure as hell think we should have a chance to find out. Playoff should be expanded to 8, end of story.
Yeah, I am confused a bit. You guys are underrated. According to my math for now. On to the next beer
It's the first time we've seen someone take an L in this thread in a long time, were all sort of curious about it.
And yeah it's fine. We're a hard team to read and polarizing. We do talk shit so whatever. It's all part of the journey.
We kind of have to act like assholes if we want to be treated even remotely fairly. If we didn’t claim a natty, we wouldn’t have gotten even 10% of pub we’ve gotten this season.
Fucking a. Was gonna get tickets for the wife to the fiesta if that’s where you make it. I’d fly free but just for her it’d be $1400. That’s nuts.
Spectrum was insane tonight. I’m not going to be able to talk for a week. Pineapple Mango popsicles are delicious. One more win until Danny can start his antitrust push.
IMO he doesn't need to wait until our bowl. Our bowl result is irrelevant to our place in the playoff.
This lawyer has an interesting take — suggests the players pursue it instead of the university(s). Worth reading the thread.
McCrea and Mack just got a helmet sticker on College football Final tonight. Not that that necessarily means much, just thought it was funny how McCrea gets the attention. You know the walk-on to scholarship guy we have listed as 4th on the depth chart that just had a 1000 yard season and 10 TDs. Again why isn’t he starting (or at least above Otis)? Dude is going to be our next star
It didn't seem to me that on the chop block no-call, that the defender was engaged completely with our OL at the time of the low block, but I could be way wrong. If so, then that was the most egregious, and I thought the picked up holding call where their QB was still in the pocket was bad too. I would be pissed if I was them too, but in the end, the officials didn't hold Henderson to 3 yards in the second half, so fuck their bitch asses.
exactly. If they didn't get completely and totally out-coached and out-muscled in the second half then maybe they can bitch, but seriously, shut the fuck up and beat the man across from you or go home and cry.
hey cfb commity if your afraid you will lose face bye us beating the other 3 . then put us at 4 and that will not happen . guess what ? tee that ball up , lets play football .
Only two actual bad calls against them (chop block and defensive holding), both of which were picked up flags and make them look a lot worse. Memphis must have perfected the art of holding because our guys were getting held like crazy all game and couldn’t get off blocks to stop the run. They also missed two or three PI calls in our favor.
saw this on The Athletic's article about the game. Hope he gets the same offer here, as he is going to basically be a coach all next year. Despite being away, Milton took part in team meetings over FaceTime during the week. Milton has had an eye toward coaching whenever his playing career ends. He told The Athletic in the spring that Scott Frost offered him a graduate position spot whenever he wants it.
There will always be missed calls in every game. I thought the chop block was close and can see it going either way (ok engagement was really late). Have not seen the holding that was reversed yet. All you can ask for is that the refs are consistently making the same calls...and I think they were for the most part. They let the athletes play during the Championship game. You figure it out and play as best you can.
And this is the whole damn story right here. After a bit of Googling, only 13 teams in the entire country had more players go in the draft than we did last year, and not a single fucking one of them went undefeated with a brand new coaching staff this year. The debating will never end, but there’s no denying that what this UCF team has accomplished over the past two years. This year’s team is 12-0 with a completely new coaching staff, a rebuilt defense and a roster that lost four players to the NFL Draft.
I honestly wouldn't mind. Best thing our future head coach could do is bounce around a little. Once he relearns how to walk, of course. :(
Yeah, hopefully he can take a similar route as SF by using SF's connections, then make it back to you guys when Heup is ready to move on or another coach in between. Seems like the easiest guy to root for ever.
I'd expect him to stick around UCF until his crew is graduated. This team is pretty bought in. Not sure how that math works but that could mean being a GA here before heading out. Either way I think it's obvious he and Scott link back up in the future. It's got that destiny feel.
