    I have no real beef with the offense so far. DG missed a couple throws to extend drives and Jackson had a bad false start penalty. That’s not play calling or design. I also doubt Mack hits some of the throws DG has today.

    Defense just needs to nut up, get into the backfield, and make some plays against the run.

    yeah, nothing that DG has done has made me think anything other than that he is a true freshman; he is going to have times he looks awesome and times he looks like trash. It’s why I would have preferred him to red shirt and start Wimbush or Mack. If either of them started all year we’re probably in the same place as we are now anyway, but we committed to DG starting so he should get every rep he can get

    I will say that the one time I think they should have pulled him was in Cincy when it was clear that he was overwhelmed and flustered. Not to sit him, just for a series or two. Huep should have pulled him to the sideline and said stand here and watch for a few plays, take a breath and clear your head

    Didn’t he beat a better Stanford team when he was at ND? Either way, that win had as much to do with Stanford traveling cross country to the Florida heat in September as it did with who was taking snaps. DG would have played most that game for the reps anyway

    Off the top of my head we have converted 3 4th Downs into touchdowns this season so far. Aggressiveness on 4th with a good offense is such an advantage even going back to the big 4th down run vs Memphis in 2017.
