UGA appears to be purposefully hamstringing itself on offense based on philosophy. Personally this reminds me of 2012 UF but Georgia is way more talented, with a better coach and the advent of modern offenses to look to. It may work and lead to a national championship but the process seems wrong. I think most people just look at all the great players on the roster and wonder why UGA is choosing to play like LSU circa Les Miles.
As a UF fan I’m way more worried playing a team like Oklahoma than I am playing UGA. Based on overall talent, that shouldn’t be the case.
I think this is where you and the national media get it wrong - we aren’t purposefully scoring in the low 20’s because that’s how Kirby wants to play. We are doing so because of a variety of issues we have on offense and thus that’s how Kirby thinks we have to play. We were among the highest scoring offenses in the country in 2017 and 18. This developing narrative that Kirby doesn’t want to score points is just dumb. Unfortunately it has become a standard talking point in “pick your favorite” college football podcast.
You should probably be more worried about Georgia because you aren’t beating us anytime soon and you aren’t remotely close to needing to worry about a matchup in the CFP.
I based my comment on the offensive philosophy. Muschamp also wanted to score points. But the overall philosophy made that impossible. You can live in a fan stays world where everything is peachy but that’s not the reality. If you have a variety of issues with Fromm, Swift, Cager, and your O-line than why would it get better when those guys leave?
I rather UGA keep James Coley because I don’t think he’s a good coordinator and it gives UF a better chance. I have no idea why UGA fans would want the same thing.

We have 2017 and 2018 as exhibits A and B. I know you deeply wish Kirby was Muschamp but he’s not - he’s an elite coach.

Right. You're far less likely to get blown out or see the game get out of hand quickly and if we start turning the ball over we haven't established enough of a lead to not lose (see: the South Carolina game).
We don’t and at the same time it’s a lot of Fromm not executing. Coley is also responsible for that as the OC and QB coach. Add in that our interior OL isn’t playing well and here we are... still East champs. So this will be the most important offseason in Kirby’s short tenure. He’s got to do something at OC imo. I fear he won’t.
