The freshmen get fucked over hardcore on the first game or two but it ends up working out by the end of the year because of the people that lose privileges for no-showing/getting booted. I will say the "loyalty points" system has increased attendance at other sports. People in my class were talking about a volleyball match...I was like why did yall go to that. They were like loyalty points bro. The students last year were more into soccer than I've ever seen too, men's and women's. Not sure if that was just bc of World Cup or if that will be a thing now
No doubt. Another thing that's fucking up the student fan culture these days is Carolina/Clemson being pushed back to Thanksgiving weekend. It's basically only instate kids going to that game now because of holiday travel

they have a pool of money they can use however they want. teams very often make deals with guys to draft them higher because they'll take less money than other guys will. theres no strict rule, and you see it happen all the time. Hell Drew Cisco got like 800k above slot in 2010 out of high scool
