I'm not optimistic about Ray, but I don't see how you can conclusively say he's terrible. He hasn't even had the chance to fuck up, yet. He's hired a baseball coach, and he's raised a shitload of money, and drastically improved facilities. This hire is his first real test. And, when you consider...wait....DMX? Fucking moron. We have planned debt for facilities, but that is not a deficit. I think we made around an 25 million profit last year, most of which has been put back into the program.
Every school runs a deficit. It's how we all build these facilities. They're called bonds, that we pay each and every month. I'm quite positive UGA and Clemson do the same thing.

I mean he has, but not enough to what people want immediately. Most of the money they raise will go to pay down those building constitutions. Once they've paid a certain amount down of the bond, they start building something else. Next is adding a lot a suites on the east side of the stadium.

I think Ray has his sights on Herman and Smart, and really didnt put out feelers to any other candidates imo. I still think its Herman, as there was too much smoke for him to be a non option. Word got out too quickly and things were squelched so he can finish his season with Houston.
