Yeah we were just better last night. Carrera was just better. I think we're pretty good, not as good as our record but that's because we played a doo doo non con.
Just got a commit from this kid: http://sports.yahoo.com/ucf/football/recruiting/player-Evan-Hinson-165493 He is 3* but offers from Michigan/SoCal/Miami has my attention
What's the deal with this kid wanting to play basketball too? Can't say I'm wild about the idea -- bball team is doing fine on its own; this kid needs to concentrate on getting football out of the shitter
Speaking of bball, Gamecock Club sent out an email that only 300 tix remain for Saturday's game vs Bama :itshappening:
I saw a quote that said he was focusing on football He's a good basketball player though, and his brother is a freshman who has had offers from unc, kentucky, and a number of other schools since middle school
supposedly he is the type of jumbo athlete that most programs are focusing on getting - hybrid wr/te that creates mismatches with lbs or dbs. our biggest need is playmakers on offense. we had fay row and that was it this year on O
Damn son wtf? So that girl went to my high school in VA and was apparently originally from Columbus, OH which is where I'm originally from. Crazy.
My favorite part of the game was when Ogubewenabuga or whatever the fuck his name was missed the two free throws and you would have thought we had just won the title and the announcers explained it was for a Chik-Fil-A promotion and everyone won a free chicken sandwich.
Dude next to me gave me his ticket and our friends that came with us live out of town can't use theirs so I've got 5 sandwiches coming my way
Spoiler A look at where things stand currently with each of South Carolina’s major remaining targets as we close in on national signing day for the 2016 recruiting cycle. Karamo Dioubate, DT, Philadelphia (Pa.) Charter Prep- It all comes down to if he wants to leave Philly or not. If he wants to leave, then South Carolina is in great shape. If not, he will go to Temple. CURRENT PREDICTION: South Carolina CONFIDENCE: Medium Aaron Thompson, DE/DT, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Dillard- Thompson had an excellent visit to South Carolina and though he is currently committed to Maryland, there’s an extremely good chance he signs with the Gamecocks on Wednesday. CURRENT PREDICTION: South Carolina CONFIDENCE: High Stephon Taylor, DT, New Orleans (La.) Edna Carr- Taylor has a long relationship with Muschamp, assistant head coachLance Thompson and defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson. The Gamecocks got the final visit and have made this a clear three-team race with Florida State and Texas being the other schools in it. Look for this one to take some turns between now and Wednesday with several schools rising and falling. CURRENT PREDICTION: Florida State CONFIDENCE: Low Malcolm Roach, DE, Baton Rouge (La.) Madison Prep- Multiple sources have said that Roach intends to stick with his commitment and sign with Texas on Wednesday and we get that feeling, too, after talking with Roach himself. CURRENT PREDICTION: Texas CONFIDENCE: High Randrecous Davis, WR, Atlanta (Ga.) Mays- The former Georgia commit loved his visit to South Carolina and the Gamecocks moved ahead of Miami in the race for his services. He announces on signing day and the momentum, along with proximity to home, is with South Carolina. CURRENT PREDICTION: South Carolina CONFIDENCE: High Jeriko Morris, WR, Crystal Springs (Miss.)- Morris, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound athlete who Gamecocks co-offensive coordinator Bryan McClendon has been tracking since his days at Georgia, made an official visit this past weekend with his family and it went extremely well for South Carolina. Still, there’s a question of proximity for the current Southern Miss commitment. CURRENT PREDICTION: South Carolina CONFIDENCE: Medium Jacoby Hill, DE, Atlanta (Ga.) Carver- Hill spoke highly of his visit to South Carolina, then turned around Sunday night and named Memphis his leader. In speaking with a contact several weeks ago about Hill, that contact indicated that Hill “really loved” his visit to Memphis. But there’s also the fact that behind the scenes, prior to his visit, Hill tried to commit to the Gamecocks and was told to hold off until he visited. There’s no doubt Hill has a lot of potential and upside and the bottom line is if South Carolina wants him and makes him feel like a priority between now and Wednesday (remember staffs can make phone calls), then he’s very likely Columbia-bound. If not, he will be a great player in the American Conference for Memphis. CURRENT PREDICTION: South Carolina CONFIDENCE: Medium Korey Banks, WR, Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek- Banks was impressed with South Carolina on his visit and a flip from a commitment to North Carolina certainly is possible. CURRENT PREDICTION: South Carolina (updated at 1:11 p.m. Monday) CONFIDENCE: Medium Mykelle McDaniel, DT, Loganville (Ga.) Grayson- McDaniel hasn’t been able to make any official visits because he lacks a test score, but it still would not be a surprise to see the 6-foot-4, 290-pounder end up at South Carolina in time. CURRENT PREDICTION: South Carolina CONFIDENCE: High (academics pending) Hank Tuipulotu, TE, Fort Mill (S.C.) Nation Ford- After visiting BYU officially this past weekend, signs point to him sticking with his pledge to the Cougars. He will go on a two-year mission and be part of the 2018 class in time, but it looks like for this class he will head to Provo. CURRENT PREDICTION: BYU CONFIDENCE: High
I believe he plays at the school It'sAlwaysSunnyInAthens and his brother who I haven't seen post in a whole coach at
Looks like a nice deep threat, Bama offered late in the process, although I'd imagine he's got to wait in line if he wanted to commit there
Yea he plays at my brother's school. One of the fastest kids in Georgia (legit track speed). Bama and Georgia like him as a corner so they aren't really in play. Kind of raw with lots of upside. Could end up being a stud.
I don't know what our final count was on kids in the class last year, but we had a bunch of people enroll this semester that we can count back if there's room
