Not predicting he's going to be a great player for us, but McIlwain today reminded me a lot of Shaw's first few games after we booted Stephen. It wasn't pretty, but he made some big plays when we had to have them down the stretch. The Miss State game that year, in particular, comes to mind.
Shaws first start was against ECU in Charlotte. Looked bad and got pulled for Garcia. BMac was told not to turn it over so we saw a lot of safe throws. Nothing fancy but at home with the lead you just don't give them the game. Our OL is still horrible. Hope getting Stanley back will help. UK game is a PK right now. Interesting.
