Such a Dean-ism. He'd do that all the time with guys like Shammond Williams, Donald Williams, Pierce Landry, Jeff Lebo....by the time they were seniors, they were major, major contributors. Kenny Williams is poised to set the NCAA record for minutes played without a turnover, I believe...which is a little amusing to me...
Oh I get why he does it, especially early in the season. But with the team struggling to find a rhythm offensively, and the heart of conference play coming up, it's probably time to stick with line ups consisting of guys who have well defined roles and can contribute this year. Seems like every game lately we've closed the 1st half with a ragtag bunch that struggles to score, of course some of that's been due to foul problems though. I'm sure Roy's got a handle on the situation, this isn't anything new.
Williams is ok, but Maye needs to be on the bench. He should have redshirted this year for his own sake IMO.

Class is pretty meh, basically your typical Fedora group but without any of the big recruits that are usually sprinkled in. Haven't seen too much in the films to get excited about really. The two guys I probably like the most are on the DL at least, with Tomon Fox at DE and Kyree Campbell in the middle. Good news is the '17 class is off to the best start I've ever seen so far, so there's that
This is a solid class. More 4-3 dline. More size and much better team speed. Early Enrollees were much better group. 2 linebackers, 2 dbs and qb. We have a ton of guys between EE's and redshirts that should cover the talent we lost just not experience. I love that we have a capable qb returning.
yeah I've been keeping up with that thread on IC, looks like Ryan Jones is a definite this class is getting pretty nuts, not even Butch sniffed this kind of in state talent

DL Jordon Riley sounds pretty close to pulling the trigger too, another top 10 NC guy, only 4 stars on some services though so I'm not sure if we should accept it
