game is coming up soon, roster was supposed to be released today but it was pushed back until tomorrow however Timmy Chandler has been called up (http://www.nordbayern.de/nuernberger-zeitung/nz-sport/klinsmann-nominiert-chandler-1.1403879?searched=true) so thats nice
Beer soaked brats instead of hotdogs. Everyone can get behind this revolution. We might get fist fucked but we'll feel good doing it.
so mad I had to bail on going to this game. start a new job Monday and I figured it would be a terrible idea to go get drunk at a soccer match and not get home until around midnight my first week. I hate trying to act like an adult.
on Chandler coming in Wonder if Davies gets a call up and definitely need Mixx and Bedoya in this squad.
I showed up to my current job hungover as fuck the first day. It was last May, the Blackhawks had just completed a sweep of the Sharks in the Western Conference Finals. Was watching the game on the patio at one of my frequent spots; beautiful day lots of beers and shots. I was KO'd by about 9pm and still felt like garbage the next day. I say go. Sometimes you just gotta muscle through being hungover and, if I recall correctly, we're the same age
we'll see how my first few days go. I live walking distance from the stubhub office and the stadium so I can make it a last minute decision.
Brother in law called me just now and told me he has two tickets for the game. And if I can get off of work I can go. 20 rows off the field 50 yard line (i know) and I don't think I can go
Yeah, he's started 17 games for them this season. He was a bit inconsistent to start but has started to play really well (3 shutouts in last 4 games), and that's with 2, sometimes 3, rookie defenders in front of him. I'd be surprised if he played vs. Mexico though, more introduce him to the setup since he and Sean Johnson will likely be our 2 Olympic GK's. Wouldn't be surprised if Hamid got called in for the Costa Rica friendly and played.
SoccerInsider Steven Goff Hearing that @FreddyAdu11 has been called into #usmnt camp for MEX friendly. He never rejoined Benfica for preseason, awaiting move
GOALKEEPERS (2): Bill Hamid (D.C.United), Tim Howard (Everton) DEFENDERS (8): Carlos Bocanegra (Saint-Etienne), Edgar Castillo (Club America), Timmy Chandler (FC Nürnberg), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover 96), Clarence Goodson (Brondby), Michael Orozco Fiscal (San Luis), Heath Pearce (Chivas USA), Tim Ream (New York Red Bulls) MIDFIELDERS (7): Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Michael Bradley (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Ricardo Clark (Eintracht Frankfurt), Maurice Edu (Rangers), Jermaine Jones (Schalke 04), Brek Shea (FC Dallas), José Torres (Pachuca) FORWARDS (5): Freddy Adu (Benfica), Juan Agudelo (New York Red Bulls), DaMarcus Beasley (Puebla), Edson Buddle (FC Ingolstadt), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles Galaxy)
@FakeKlinsmann Kaiser von Amerika I know it seems like a lot of Mexican league players, but that way if we lose to them, we can blame it on their terrible league sucking.
He's been playing CB for Eintracht Frankfurt, so what the hell considering other options, would've liked to have seen John or Gonzalez called in though. Most people will spend way too much time complaining about selections that probably won't even be on the gameday roster.
I'll play optimist. Bradleys tactics were terrible. Basically long ball was all we had. Jurgen said he is changing the tactics to a more attacking style. Maybe Clark and Beasley play better in that style. Klinnsman also probably likes that both played in the bundesliga.
------------------------Agudelo----------------------- Shea--------------------Adu----------------------Landy -----------------Jones---------Bradley----------------- Castillo---------Boca---------Goodson--------Chandler -----------------------Howard--------------------------- is what I want
29, he's apparently played well so far in MFL. If he remains apart of the USMNT, I only see it as a late game fresh legs sub.
