Gooch subbed off at 64 minutes. Right before that had a really nice play beating a defender to the ball and creating space for a good cross that was just a few inches too high.

Playing in the Jezkuv Memorial Tournament in Czech Repulbic. Just beat Slovakia 3-1 in the first game. Goals by Taitague (best player in this age group), Rennicks and Shaft Brewer.
Apparently Pulisic is going to ask for a loan Probably for the best. Dortmund is just so loaded with talented wingers.
:blessit: This goal from Caranza. https://twitter.com/ussoccer_ynt/status/765972702062530560?ref_src=twsrc^tfw
Beat Russia 5-3 to win the group and play Czech Republic tomorrow. Not sure on all the goals. Pomykal, Carranza (PK), OG and Perry. Not sure who scored the first goal. It was 4-1 at one point. Taitague didn't even play. This team seems to pretty talented.
Beat Czech Republic 4-2 to win the Tournament. Not sure who scored other than Pomykal. Taitague won the Golden Boot, so I assume he scored as well. Dorsey scored the first goal yesterday.
Gooch got man of the match for Sunderland in a 1-2 loss. Moyes also put him in as CAM I think for the first half. 2 really good matches to start the year. Might be about time for him to get a call up as well.
Pulisic apparently played really well today. Unfortunately for him it seems the only one on the field who played better was Mor. Edit: I guess I should really stop putting pulisic stuff in the prospects thread by now
Also Haji Wright has been lighting it up for Schalke's u19's. Just had 3 assists in 1 game. Getting some (Maybe even overboard) hype from the German media.

Carleton just turned 16 this summer and he might be the best player on the u17 team. Would imagine he's gonna have some nice suitors abroad when he turns 18.
All the U17 kids are currently 15 or 16, but regardless, Carleton is definitely the elite prospect of the group right now.
Most people in here already know about it, but in case anyone doesn't, this twitter account is a great follow for keeping up on all the prospects abroad. https://twitter.com/BabyNatsAbroad They just had an update/highlights on guys in the U19 bundesliga. -Haji Wright has 4 assists and a forced own goal in 180 minutes this season for Schalke -McKinzie Gaines 3 goals/1 assist in 4 matches -Tim Tillman scored 2 goals this week
Always a fan of our youths going to Germany. Their youth development seems to focus on technique, which is what American youth tends to lack
I was almost to the point of wanting him to be loaned. If for nothing else than wanting to see what he could do as being the guy on a lower level squad.
Not being sold is for the best IMO. A loan might be good to get regular minutes but training with Dortmund is far from the worst thing
I could see Pulisic possibly getting loaned out in January as BVB will have a better gauge on their rotation.
Will ParchmanVerified account @WillParchman Aug 31 McKinze Gaines, who joined the Wolfsburg U19s at the beginning of July, earned his first week of training with the 1st team this week.
Game was a friendly with the international break and a lot of team off on national team duty. Still really impressive for a player that has only been there for a few months of a one year academy deal.
Schalke eyes third U.S. teenager Schalke has recently signed two U.S. 18-year-olds and is hoping to add a third. Schalke’s director of youth development, Oliver Ruhnert, says he thinks young Americans are getting better and better. He said forward Haji Wright can be a difference-maker with his goal-scoring ability, and he thinks midfielder Weston McKennie, who signed recently after coming through FC Dallas's academy, has the physicality and the mentality to excel in the Bundesliga someday. Schalke has also had 17-year-old midfielder Nick Taitague (pronounced tie-ta-gwee) on trial, and Ruhnert said Schalke plans to offer Taitague a contract once he turns 18 in February. Ruhnert went so far as to compare Taitague to another American teenager in Germany on the rise–Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic.
And a keeper and some left and right backs pls Seems like 90% of our top prospects are attacking mids/wingers
Are you joking with the keeper talk? If that is one position we never have to worry about it is that one.
We have enough young keepers that I am not worried about that as we have turned out plenty of fine keepers.
Yeah, I know Horvath looks solid and Steffen looks fine as well, just would be nice to have another young prospect in a good academy.
Russell Canouse is getting his first start in Bundesliga2 today. He's more of an 8 or he can play the 6. There's also Stanko who's a deep midfielder at Freiburg Also, a kid I really like is Joel Sonora. He started at Boca Juniors and recently signed with Stuttgart
