NZ didnt look very good, but they did exactly what you want to see vs poor teams and thats fucking drop the hammer on them. No show and dance..Just put them down and keep them down.
Sargent plays in a very Lewandowski-like way. He'd probably have 8 goals if he was playing with Pulisic.
ofc I don't want him in MLS. I want him to go somewhere in europe where he has an actual shot at getting first team minutes some time in the near future. Preferably not anywhere in the premier league where half the teams in the league gave <100 minutes to teenagers this year and only 2 teams more than 500.
They'd just loan him out, which isn't terrible for a young player. There's no guarantee of first team minutes anywhere and the odds of securing a better loan are higher at City. It's worked out well for Enes Ãœnal.
City made a profit. It not like it was some huge profit but 9 million in 2 years is nice and they have a buyback. He had decent loans and is going to Villareal, it isn't like his growth was stunted. Do you thimn he'd have been in a better position if he stayed at Bursaspor?
I just think when a player chooses to sign for a club they obviously want to play for them in some capacity. I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine he had more choices than just City, and I'm sure if he could re do it I don't see why he'd choose to sign for City and be loaned to 3 separate clubs. I'm just saying the entire situation benefitted City more than Ãœnal IMO
I guess it's my fault since I used him as the example but part of the reason Ãœnal has been loaned out is due to work permit issues. This of course would impact other non-EU players as well though.
Ok that certainly has me looking at his situation differently. Figured they'd loaned him so he would play first team ball.
Been a while since I've heard Pynadath's name in here. Long way off, but... holy shit http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/the9...sh-pynadath-is-up-for-ajaxs-goal-of-the-year/
Have only watched a bit, are there any players on this team capable/likely to help us next summer(if we make it)?
Gonna try and stay off twitter when I wake up and watch it without knowing the score, I'll probably forget.
Anyone planning to watch live? Debating watching in the morning (but FS2 is in SD whereas watching live I can watch on Spectrum app for HD), taking a 2 hour nap after men's friendly or just staying up
Did watch the game he got a red and it was ridiculous but he needs to get some of the Spurs' antics out of him for international play. USA doesn't get breaks in this sport, don't act like a bully and give refs a reason to send you off.
