Man how can you not get excited about Weah and Sargent. They're both such great finishers. Sargent is a great hold-up player who makes really smart runs and Weah can just take the top off of defenses with his pace. Watch him blow by everyone on his first goal. Dem genetics
would someone educate me on Mr Weah? His dad named George? He was born in NYC but is already with PSG? Is he the hero we deserve?
Dad is one of the greatest African footballers of all time. Basically became a politician in Liberia because he is so loved there. Born in NYC when his dad played there. Joined PSG's academy in 2014 after playing for a few US youth setups and recently got extended to 2020. Has done nothing but score goals there for the last couple years.
I think from all indications he's going to play for the US at the international level. snowfx2 or triceratops will have a better idea
He said he's and not going to switch. Certainly could happen if France pursues him but I don't see any reason to not take him at his word. Makes me feel better seeing him be super animated and celebrating like crazy with teammates after goals now though. Seemed like a while back during the CONCACAF championships/nike friendlies when he was new he didn't really know anybody very well and was a lot more reserved. Looks like one of the boys now.
Truth. Thank God Mbappe and Martial probably have 2 spots up top locked down for France for the next decade. Edit: I forgot about Coman too

I'm guessing we'll move Durkin back to DM and Lindsay back at CB with Sands. And I guess put Ferri with Durkin if we stay in the 4-2-3-1.
Not sure why Hackworth likes Ferri so much, Booth and Vassilev are better options. Ferri subbed off injured, so not sure what his availability will be anyways.
McKinze Gaines debut made his debut for Darmstadt today. Weird situation. He's getting friendly action with Wolfsburg, then doesn't get on the field until 2 months into the season in the B2. Wonder if he was hurt or something.
How is the English team? I watched Japan the other day and thought they looked just ok. Pretty lackluster performance against New Caledonia.
Japan beat us 4-0 in the last tournament prior to the WC. It was one of 3 losses for this team. We will be the underdogs. Not as big of a dog as against their Men's Team.
Kid might push Yedlin in a footrace. At about 1:16 he has 10 yards on his defender and would have had a dead breakaway with a better pass
Trained with benefica's first team recently. That is one big ass midfielder with small midfielder feet. For those that don't know/remember, this is the guy who was doing very well at Varzim in Portugal and stopped getting minutes completely one day. (Turned out the GM tried to sell him under the table without talking to Parks or his agent, and it was then denied when they found out. Varzim benched him permanently as a result) He sued Varzim for unfair treatment and unpaid wages and actually won. Nobody really knew what was going on when he stopped playing so that's why he kind of flew under the radar. Benefica picked him up directly after his falling out with Varzim, which was a pretty great sign.

Jesus Sands just got toasted Another bad giveaway before it. Back line is looking like the weakness I was worried they'd be
Stop being so goddamn impatient Not taking the space they're giving us and taking long range shots when there are opportunities for through balls
We were the better team for 2/3 of the game. Just shit the bed on marking twice and made a mess of lots of good chances and that was it.
Looking forward to this group joining up with 99s for the next U20 cycle. '02 age group is shaping up early on to be extremely talented for the next U17s.
