I think he is an Azurri fan first and then the US but I could be wrong....I refer to both Chile and the US as "us" or "we". Chile is the clear #1 since I was born and raised there, but lately I have been following the US much closer and I want us (meaning the USA) to do well. Who is the 17 year old if it isn't Spector? And for American standards, Spector is definitely a star. One of our top three players. The only other two names I can think of are Adu who went to Europe at 17 but is hardly turning into a star and Charles Renken who I think went over earlier but isn't on the first team and is all potential. Although Adu would fit with the part since he has been a bust thus far, maybe you just disagree with the bust label.
