Hide&SeekChamp http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/05/12/alleged-witness-emerges-natalee-holloways-2005-disappearance De Jong goes on to say that he witnessed Joran van der Sloot, the main suspect in Natalee’s disappearance, carrying Natalee’s body on the night she disappeared. He states, “I saw that Joran was chasing Natalee into a small building under construction. In about five minutes he came out with Natalee in his arms, and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor, and then he made an opening in a crawl space…I knew she was dead.”

Cliffs: This guy contacted the Holloways several years ago when Van der Sloot claimed to have dumped Natalee's body at sea and said that it wasn't true. The investigators pretty much ignored it at that point but the guy reached out again recently and they are taking it more seriously. Natalee's father and an investigator (with a trained dog) went down there and checked out the address this allegedly took place at. Construction records show that the address was under construction at that time so it is possible but they weren't given full access to the site so they found their search to be inconclusive.
If I were her dad it would have to be a police station or gang house for me not to the guy who wouldn't give me access.
Natalee Holloway's dad having human remains found in Aruba DNA tested USA TODAY NETWORKMary Bowerman, USA TODAY NetworkPublished 6:39 a.m. ET Aug. 17, 2017 | Updated 10:39 a.m. ET Aug. 17, 2017 The father of Natalee Holloway, the American teenager who disappeared in Aruba 12 years ago, revealed that he and a private investigator recently discovered human remains behind a house on the island. Dave Holloway and investigator T.J. Ward told Todaythat during the course of an 18-month investigation they were led to remains which are being DNA tested to determine if they belong to his daughter. "When we determined these remains were human, I was shocked,'' Holloway told Matt Lauer and Savannah Guthrie on the program Wednesday. "I know there's a possibility this could be someone else, and I'm just trying to wait and see." Natalee disappeared in 2005 while on a post-graduation trip with friends. The 18-year-old was last seen outside a bar with Joran van der Sloot, who was raised in Aruba. Van der Sloot has never been charged in Natalee's disappearance and is currently serving time for killing Peruvian student Stephany Flores. (Photo: Ernesto Benavides, AFP/Getty Images) Holloway said they were led to the remains after an informant put them in touch with someone who allegedly had direct knowledge of Natalee's disappearance. "We have a person who states he was directly involved with Joran van der Sloot in disposing of Natalee's remains,'' Holloway told Today. "I thought, you know, there may be something to this." Ward and Holloway detail their investigation in a new Oxygen series called The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway. Holloway said if the remains belong to his daughter, “it would finally be the end.”
Seems like they (mom in particular) have tried to profit from it and make a name for themselves in D-List celeb circles. Maybe I'm way off base, though.
At this point, it makes zero sense to go to the media unless she is found unless the purpose is attention.
His appearances on O&A are all up on YouTube still. I've listened to them maybe 4 times through since he passed.
The whole situation ruined her marriage to Natalie's step dad and she forgot her son to a point. Mom taught the little brother the year or two after the disapearence and he progressively got worse over the school year. While I get that JonBenet's Dad would understand losing a child, it seemed like a cry for attention to start dating him.
Sounds like it's just advertising for an Oxygen special. Nothing to see here. Natalee Holloway's Dad Leads Investigators In New Special as Authorities Dispute Discovery of Remains Inside Edition •August 17, 2017 The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The program details efforts by the missing teen's father, Dave Holloway, and private investigator T.J. Ward to finally bring his beloved daughter home." The discovery is featured on the Oxygen network's The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The program details efforts by the missing teen's father, Dave Holloway, and private investigator T.J. Ward to finally bring his beloved daughter home. In 2015, to mark the 10th anniversary of the Alabama teen's disappearance, Inside Edition’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero went to Aruba with Holloway and Ward in the father’s endless quest to find his daughter. “Natalee wanted to go to Aruba,” Holloway said. “It was her high school class trip and my immediate answer was, ‘No you're not.' Guerrero asked, “You didn't want her to go. Why?” Aruba is a beautiful Caribbean island with gorgeous sun-kissed beaches and luxury resorts, but the island has a party-hearty reputation, where booze flows freely and the drinking age is just 18. The teen stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Casino, where she met Joran van der Sloot, a handsome local boy who was a regular at the hotel's blackjack tables. On her last night, Van der Sloot made plans to see her at a downtown party bar called Carlos 'n Charlie's. The bar is now closed and abandoned. “Down here at the end of the corner, Natalee got up into the sunroof and yelled, ‘Aruba!’” her father said. “And one of her classmates said, ‘Hey Natalee, get out of the car,’ and she said, ‘Oh no, it's okay.'" Her friends never saw her again. Guerrero asked him: “Don't you wish one of her girlfriends would have stopped her from getting in the car right here that night?” “Yeah, I really wish they had the buddy system going,” he replied. “But apparently they didn’t.” The determined father was skeptical back then. It's long been believed that Natalee's body was dumped in the ocean. When Inside Edition went with Holloway and Ward to Aruba two years ago , it was to check out an intriguing new tip, that her body could be found in a crawl space at The Marriot Surf Club, a resort that was under construction in 2005, the year she disappeared. The determined father was skeptical back then. Holloway and Ward were joined by search and rescue expert Tracy Sargent, whose dog, Chance, has been trained to detect cadavers, even those that may have been dumped somewhere years before. “Were you able to find any trace at all of Natalee’s body?” Guerrero asked Sargent. “No. Not at all. Not at this point. We certainly can't rule it out,” she replied. Holloway has returned to Aruba for the six-part special on the Oxygen cable network, which begins Saturday. Holloway and Ward say an informant has led them to the backyard of a house where Natalee's body could be buried. Bones were allegedly discovered at the location. Based on an excerpt from the Oxygen special, police in Aruba were dubious about the new information, saying in a statement to Inside Edition that the bones found were not human remains. Whatever the outcome of the DNA test, a father's quest for justice is as strong as ever. Dave Holloway told Inside Edition in 2015 that he will never give up looking for Natalee. “As long as there is a chance that I’ll find her, I’ll keep looking,” he said. Van der Sloot has never been charged in connection to Natalee Holloway’s disappearance. He’s currently in prison for the 2010 murder of another woman in Peru.
Almost two decades after Holloway vanished in Aruba, the prime suspect in her disappearance might soon reveal long-awaited details about how she died. As a condition of a plea deal, van der Sloot is required to say how Holloway died and how her body was disposed of, Holloway family attorney John Q. Kelly told NBC’s “Today” show. “There won’t be any further investigation or search … for Natalee’s remains,” Kelly said on “Today.” Beth Holloway, Natalee’s mother, will hold a news conference after the hearing to share what van der Sloot told FBI authorities.
If there will be no new information or search for her remains, what keeps him from just making up whatever he wants to say to get the plea deal.
I’m sure that’s just to get some closure for the family, which is probably what they wanted. I assume they know he’ll say he dumped body in water or something, and after this time just wouldn’t make sense to look. They already have anyway.
Ok so the confession is so brutal I don’t think he’d make it up, especially the part about going home and watching porn afterwards. Absolute disgrace to the human race and I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more victims out there.
It’s scattered around in a few articles and it seems like his confession to the mom had more information than what was said in court today. Apparently he tried to hook up with her on the beach and she kicked him in the crotch, so he kicked her in the head and knocked her unconscious. He went and grabbed a cinder block and “completely smashed her head in.” Then he drug her body out into the water and went home and watched porn. https://people.com/natalee-holloway-mom-confronts-joran-van-der-sloot-8363002 https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...ce-pleads-guilty-extortion-wire-fr-rcna120865
"Van der Sloot's confession was backed up by his polygraph test, according to the mother." That alleviates my concern he would just make some shit up to get the deal a small bit. I know they're not perfect but its something.
not a lot of people know this but bwi2 is actually the brains behind the Derek Guy workwear twitter account
