Banking on the fact we'll move Nguyen central and bring in nagbe and Finlay at half and the second half will be super entertaining.
Unless Morris turns out to be a goal per game player, gonna hate on him for turning down the bundesliga.
I think we'd all love to see Benny get a shot for some qualifying and/or Copa this Summer (I'd love him over Mix for this camp and friendlies) but I think we all know at this point it is not going to happen
True. And I completely understand if we want to go younger and know he'll lose a step by next WC. Sure. Makes sense jurgen. Then he brings in Nguyen who is like 18 months younger....
Zardes is where chances go to die At this point, I don't want him playing unless he's a late sub against an unathletic or small back line and we need a goal and you're just hoping his pace and athleticism can make something happen. He is just so fucking wasteful. Nagbe save us.
It's funny. Just got home from dinner and turn it on to see Alexi saying Zardes was the best player for the US in the first half. Read TMB and know he is wrong.
Just before the match started they were interviewing Besler and Alexi said he'd been hearing how different this camp was than Jurgens previous camps and that JK was approaching it different and asked Besler what he felt was most different and he said he didn't want to get into the past and things that were said. Alexi said yes but what to you is most different and Besler said nothing, that it felt exactly like all his other camps and that he thinks JK approached it the same
Yeah I agree. I'd understand it if we weren't calling in guys the same age or older (Brad Davis, Brad Evans, Wondo, Gordon)
Love when the ball is at Nguyen's feet. Usually seems like something positive is going to happen then.
Put some sauce on that one darlington. Me likey. Honestly, I could see him being a better player fr country than club. So many skills but lacks that killer instinct. Would be great if he's a role player and not the #1 focus.
Not as bad of a miss as it looked like, Jozy would have needed a terrific header to score there. Still should have gotten it on target.
I'm pretty tired of 0-0 friendlies with Canada. I'm going to threaten to not watch the next one but then I will give in and bitch for 90 minutes
Played for Stanford and was the #4 pick in the most recent draft I don't have an answer to the 2nd part
Ethan Finlay. An actual true talent at wing comes in a delivers a beaut. How the fuck does that happen jurgen? Play our best talent at their best fuccking positions you tard.
Not too disappointed with the game. Mostly our B and C squad who held their shape until 89th minute. Just adding Attiba to the pitch makes the whole team better.
If going 4-2-3-1. I'd put fabs in the back with Besler/Miaza/Burnbaum. Brad - Trap/Jones obvs. Nags-Benny-Finlay with Jozy poaching in front would be goals on goals on goals.
I was still working under the assumption that Jurgen is going to continue to flat out refuse to bring Benny in. If he stops being so stubborn about that then I would agree that would probably be a stronger lineup
I feel now that Acosta will be pigeonholed into fullback by JK going forward. He didn't play bad there but he's only really played FB in emergency situations in the past with Dallas and USYNT's. He's a natural CM (can play as a 6 or an 8) and a position that will probably get him a move to Europe within the next couple years.
I have access to 4 tickets to the 3/29 Qualifier vs Guatemala as an AO member and 2 more as a Crew STH if anyone is interested in going
I thought you only had to do that on airplanes? The few pics I remember seeing of you I thought you'd be svelte enough to fit into a single seat.
